Peter Jolie

Peter Jolie was born, baptized and raised a Roman Catholic, but in recent years has taken a liking to modern day Christian churches, and watches Christian programs on television, such as "This is Your Day", with Benny Hinn. As a child, Peter was fascinated with reading his mum and dad’s encyclopedia, a 15 volume set made in the United States in the year 1949, called Richards Topical Encyclopedia. Much of his knowledge of the formation of the earth came from him reading about it in this encyclopedia.

    ABOUT THE AUTHOR

P eter Jolie was born, baptized and raised a Roman Catholic in the city of Melbourne, Australia. In recent years, he has taken a liking to attending modern day Christian churches, and likes to watch Christian programs on television . As a child, Peter was fascinated with reading his mum and dad’s encyclopedia, a 15 volume set made in the United States in the year 1949, called Richards Topical Encyclopedia . Much of his knowledge of the formation of the earth came from him reading about it in this encyclopedia. In chapter 4 of this book, Peter challenges the popular Christian belief that the sixth angel sounding his trumpet in Revelation, chapter 9 is about World War III. Peter explains why he believes this passage is really about cancer.

    PREFACE

O n September 27, 2007, at an AM radio station in Melbourne, Australia, called 3CR, at approximately 12:50 in the afternoon, during a show called Roominations (a show made by and for rooming house residents and homeless people), I, the author of this book, spoke and broadcast the following words:

I often visit a friend who lives in a rooming house in an inner city suburb, and after going to a Christmas party at a drop-in center for unemployed and homeless people, I noticed a candy cane which came from a parcel we got from the party, which had been sitting on his table for weeks. I kept wondering if he was going to eat it because I wouldn’t have minded having it myself. Then I had a dream that the candy cane lay on the table for so long that it was covered with a cobweb. Then something hit me! Suddenly, I believed I knew the meaning of the little scroll in the book of Revelation, chapter 10, in the Bible. There is already a clue in verses 9 and 10. It will be sweet as honey in your mouth, but it will turn sour in your stomach. I concluded it must be about some kind of candy, which has gone past its use-by date. A candy cane left on the table, covered with a cobweb, could taste sweet in your mouth but make you feel crook in the stomach. I believe the little scroll in chapter 10 of Revelation is about the candy cane with the cobweb, and I believe it symbolically represents a big event which will occur in the world soon, and then the meaning of the candy cane will be understood.

    INTRODUCTION

The truth about Genesis, chapter 1.

W ay back in ancient times, some people believed the earth was flat, being held up from underneath by four elephants standing on a giant turtle. If this was written in Genesis, chapter 1, we would now know that Genesis, chapter 1, would be wrong. But no such thing is written in Genesis, chapter 1. With the correct interpretation, Genesis, chapter 1 is the truth about how the earth and its life were created. This book begins by presenting two great theories, or interpretations, of how the world was created according to Genesis, chapter 1.

What was the real purpose of Adam and Eve’s creation?

The answer could be a great message of hope to those who believe! Read about it in chapter 3 of this book! You, the reader of this book, can read these two theories of the earth’s creation, together with chapter 3 of this book, and make up your mind about which of these theories you think is more likely to be correct, or if you think either theory is correct. Well-educated people, including scientists, archaeologists, and those who study the Bible, such as priests, bishops, ministers and pastors, and so on, can read these theories and make up their mind about what they do and do not believe. Indeed, these two theories, plus chapter 3 of this book, would be a great subject for debate among many people!
