About this ebook

In 1998, I discovered a lesson I was never taught in school. It opened my eyes to the origin of the pain, dysfunction and devastation of a people who have been manipulated, bamboozled, deceived, denigrated, disparaged, maligned and premeditatedly victimized for centuries in America...for PROFIT.

It was a poignant Aha! moment for me. I finally understood the angst and cognitive dissonance Id felt for years, as a Black woman growing up in the cradle of Civil War America---Petersburg, VA. My spirit wouldnt let me rest until I had discovered Willie Lynchism.

Virginia is where much of U. S. His-Story began and where the most redoubtable of all U. S. wars ended. Locations around Virginia endured battles and events that have shaped its modern day tourism and house painful memories of the formidable war that took place on U. S. soil between fellow Americans--The Civil War. It thankfully, but according to some revisionists, coincidentally, ended American Slavery. Revisionism aside, Willie Lynchism and the Lets Make a Slave plan, must be added to the National U. S. History Content Standards, if America is going to correct its faulty, racist ideologies.

Karla Edward

Karla “With a K” Edward’s work as a teacher, at the beginning of the 21st century, inspired her to write this book about this lesson she never learned during her school years in the 20th century. She hopes to inform other “life long learners” of this missing history lesson that could reveal the source of social, emotional, psychological and even spiritual dysfunction experienced as an American, Black or White. Comments of 150 Signers of her online petition are included in this book. The introduction of the Internet and the Feb. 2000 demise of KACE radio in Los Angeles, CA, where Karla “With a K”’s six year stint as a Radio Personality in America’s #2 media market ended, were catalysts for her new career as an Internet Marketer and Educator in L. A.’s public school system. For over a decade, she taught Computer Technology, Social Studies and English for the Los Angeles Unified School District. With a B. A. in Communications and Theatre minor, from Howard University, Karla works as an Actress, Voice Over Artist, and currently Tutors English/ESL for Axiom Educators, LLC, in Richmond, VA. Karla With a K is her “brand” name under SAG-AFTRA, an American labor union for professional performers.

    FOREWORD

History, according to Mandell Creighton, provides no compensation for suffering, nor penalties for wrong. In order to fully understand history, one must vow to accept the truth, regardless of how painful said truths might be.

For two hundred and forty eight years, Africans in America (slaves), were governed according to a fixed set of rules that transformed them into seeing themselves as Niggers, then Coloreds, Blacks, Negroes, African Americans and for some, ultimately back to Niggers/Niggas, again.

In spite of the passage of time, many things remain the same: we still control less than 1% of the wealth in this country, we still have the highest number of incarcerations, we’re still marching and calling for justice and we do not have a complete understanding of history.

African American consciousness was captured and forcibly locked into Europe’s racist pathological system, where it was forged into a character that is lacking for many.

Upon further review of this character, one readily sees the aim of those who shaped it, directly and indirectly. While it can be argued that the previous statement is a scathing opportunity to bait the races and rant, African Americans are, nevertheless, vexed over the discontinuity and inexplicable toxic miasma that’s suffocating Black people.

Needless to say, the point that must be taken from my description of African American history, pre and post slavery, as it relates to the Willie Lynch Letter/Plan’s inconspicuous trusteeship between the rulers of this land and their subjects, can be attributed to African Americans’ powerlessness.

This scholarly feature challenges the supposition that the United States History Content Standards omit factual, historical events, which inspired the author to advocate for the entry of this painful, yet true history lesson, Willie Lynchishm, in schools across America.

As a former educator in the Los Angeles Unified School District’s public school system, Edward has witnessed countless numbers of minority students grappling with historical content that honors iconoclastic slave owners, among them, five of our first
