About this ebook

The title, Becoming The Thinker, is meant to be an ideal merging of ones physical brain with what some consider to be intuition or instinct or inborn health, and what others may even consider to be god. Yet Becoming The Thinker does not promise that humankind, at least in this mutation, will ever fully merge with intuition/instinct/god? and see the entire whole truth of the universe.

How far You decide to take this process can only be Your choice. No one can look into your thoughts and know what limitations, intellectual or otherwise, you may have placed upon yourself or what is hardwired into Your brain.

(Please forgive me for the following wolf metaphor. I use it only in order to simplify what seems to be occuring in our current culture. (smile) From the little I know about Wolves, they dont seem to be manipulative or deceitful.)

I suspect you will agree that we live in a racist or ethno-centristic world. Yet the extremely small hidden ruling class does not seem to be concerned with mundane thoughts such as skin color. Rather the ruling class seems to be more like wolves in the sense that a few are alpha types, but most others are not, yet all who choose to actually think rather than react from an imposed "training" can be thought of as people/wolves.

To belong to this ruling class wolf pack that is fast becoming the corporate world and the corporate media, as opposed to merely corporate America, etc., it only seems to matter that you develop a cutting edge personal honesty which does not necessarily extend to your fellow wolves and certainly not to the would be wolves who are in reality little more than people/sheep who remain in the trance of life.

In this sense, the people wolves are always the hidden ruling class who cause the media to aid in the "manufacture of consent" and impose that manufactured "truth" upon the people/sheep who in turn then "believe" it is themselves who run the world.

Those people/sheep still in the trance of life are not forced into being victims, they have merely been tricked into letting others do their thinking. People/sheep can also choose NOT to be mired in a myriad of unexamined beliefs (systems of thought ) which disconnects them from the clearer light.

They can choose to come out into the real light, find their personal honesty and begin to wisk away the centuries of cultural fog which keeps them locked in the trance of life.
That is, sheep like humans can choose to become wolf like. However the irony is that most people/sheep are so deluded that they "believe" themselves to be "Wolves". Only you can examine your ingrained systems of thought (Ego) and decide where you fit into the scheme of things.

BECOMING THE THINKER is about a rediscovered ancient paradigm that is only now gaining momentum. The book shows how to reconnect with the unlimited power of your inner wisdom and mold the future to your own desires. Your awakened ability to control your own future amplifys your natural intuitive gifts.

Inborn intuition provides us with the fearless talent to recognize and analyze accurate information. That ability is intuitive free will and it is the real gift of the universe.

In 1991, after discovering an emerging and profound paradigm I wrote a series of essays designed to remind me how to stay connected to our natural inner power. Wanting to add momentum to the paradigm I floated some of the essays on the net. I later put it all together in this self help book, Becoming The Thinker. In order to reach even more people I recently finished the novel, Paradise Now.

If youre looking for a way to truly enhance your being and your future life, youve got the right book. Ive spent much of my time being angry. However, my first seven years were serene because I was firmly in touch with my inner power. The connection was broken when I was forced to move in with my mother and the man who shared her world. During those yea

Chapter One

Escaping The Trance of Life

This book is about things that you have always known but may have forgotten. Who knows, you may even remember that this little book is your own map to your inborn wisdom. Perhaps after you have finished reading the last sentence you will say, "It may not be my words, but those are my thoughts! Even now, in these first few sentences you may feel an inner tug of recognition as you read about how to awaken from the fragmented trance of life, regain the integrity of our intuitive self and reclaim your membership into the so called Illuminati. You know the desire to rediscover the integrity of inner Mind can be seen in every known philosophy and religion; that it’s the driving force of the Vedas which were written more than twenty five hundred years ago as well as the driving force of modern physics.

Integrity can be seen in the traditions of native Americans, the writings of early Buddhism, and the works of Bohm, Chomsky, Holmes, Pagels, Capra, Berlinski, William James, Richard Carlson, Joseph Campbell, Sydney Banks and many others. Like shattered gems, bits and pieces of the desire to reconnect to inner Mind are reflected in our daily lives, from the articles in our magazines to the ambiance of the neighborhood coffee shop.

Becoming The Thinker is a synthesis of a few of the perhaps millions of visionaries, most unknown, who have added to the search for the serenity of intuitive self. I hope my system, born out of a vast pool of thinkers, is an industrial strength version of that which we all know as it details how we can take four inner steps and regain the joy of intuitive free will.

Unfortunately most of us exist in a narrow trance of life, our brains flooded with hurtful thoughts that close the door to our natural and powerful intuition. No longer able to access our inborn sanity we plod along feeling alienated and separate from the rest of our world. Regardless of how much wealth we have there is always something missing, yet on another level we are aware that inner Mind is urging us to fill that emptiness by centering on our natural bliss. It is an ache that our thinkers and artist have echoed through the centuries, but unfortunately many have forgotten how to recapture the elation of our inner serenity. Yet serenity has always been here, in this flowing moment of consciousness. Listen to the urges of your inner Mind as it nudges you to move out of the trance of life and regain your natural journey of an ever upward consciousness. You’ll never regret it.

I’m no more enlightened than anyone else and I speak to you not as some want to be leader, but as an equal with whom you share the same inborn intuitive integrity. Think of me and this book as a memo that you once jotted down and have just rediscovered, and reading it you sense the profound world wide change that is now gaining momentum. Like you, I too know that we must cause ourselves to awaken and actively participate if the paradigm is to continue. Also like you, I know that before we can awaken we must first regain our non defensive personal honesty. We can only do that by killing our sacred cows, that is, by recognizing that too heavy a personal investment in any idea is inherently self destructive. Because when we believe in an idea rather than believing in the possibility of that idea, we close our analytical brains and cease to think.

It’s a given that humankind has long been searching for its bliss. It’s another given that we’re at our best when we’re in the moment. To be in the moment is to be conscious and , as the psychologist, William James, said, What else is there? To truly live in the moment is to return to this Paradise of Now, and reconnect with intuition. Striving to enjoy the uncertainties of this universe eases our fear, gives us needed humility, and helps us to stay in tune with intuitive Mind.

As we come to understand that all things are found in this moment we regain our fearless innocence and strengthen the connection to our inner Mind. A stronger connection enables us to disengage from the self ordained enlightened ones and an amazing thing occurs. In their desperate need to have followers, those poor false selves who mistakenly believe their egos are the I am ness of free will are teaching us to feel compassion. We learn that any of us are capable of confusing ego with the wisdom of inner Mind. And if you’re not sure then the best test is, if you believe you are enlightened then you surely are not. You are then fragmented and have lost your humility. You are listening only to ego and have disconnected from integrity.

Inner Mind can only merge when the I am ness of analytical brain is aware enough to open
