Dedication
I would like to dedicate this book to our wonderful Lord and Saviour. For without Him none of what you read in this book would have been possible or have any meaning in any way, shape or form. I just hope and pray that if anyone who reads this book hasn’t already given their life to the Lord, or if you are a non-believer you will be inspired enough to seek out our Lord and Saviour and find the love and peace only He can give.
All the time we were being brought down to our lowest ebb, we learnt to obey and trust the Lord. There are two verses in Hebrews Chapter 12 that always seemed to pop up and be in our faces.
Hebrews Chapter 12 verses 10 and 11: "Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in His holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it." How very true.
You may wonder why I would share my private life with people I don’t know, and you might think that it is none of your business. Probably not. But I just want to show you that a loving Lord can use the lowest of low to do His work.
IF I am blessed enough for this book to get published, and IF I am blessed enough for anyone to read it, I just pray and ask if any praise is to come out of it, that it will be given to our Lord and Saviour.
I am just a humble servant doing what the Lord has asked me to do.
God Bless,
Max Streidl.
Acknowledgement
There is one person who needs some praise and I would like to thank her from the bottom of my heart. That is Beryl, my lovely wife. For all the hissy fits I have had that she had to put up with, and all the wrong spelling; and commas and full stops in the wrong places, she had to try to sort out while typing this book countless times.
I would also like to thank our friends Alan May and Jennise Carr for proof reading and helping Beryl set up and type this book.
