About this ebook

This book is about the churches being impregnated with the seed of God to bring forth His power in its fullness, but because of her self-seeking gratification, in her hour of delivery she brought forth ravenous wolves, representatives of pride, stubbornness, and lack of submission, leading to rebellion against authority and against God.

Benjamin!: A Ravenous Wolf - Revised Edition
Author

Janet L. Russell

Janet is a born-again believer and follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. She accepted the Lord at the age of fourteen and ministers to the body of Christ through prophetic poetry as the Spirit of the Lord God communicates to her His love and affection toward them. She is the proprietor of a small café, where at anytime during coffee break a newsletter or posting of the most recent words from the Lord are available to minister to your spirit. All are invited to come and drink from a fountain that never runs dry as she declares a word in season straight from the throne room, proclaiming His word in this end time. Benjamin: A Ravenous Wolf signifies the importance of having an intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, hearing His voice for oneself so that we as a collective body may bring forth that which He has purposed for this season. Those who follow after the heart of God and seek an intimate relationship with Him will bring forth ministries after His kind, the manifestation of the sons of God operating in His power. Those who are only interested in obtaining status with their own selfish motives and desires will labor to bring forth ministries after their own kind, called ravenous wolves operating in the flesh and not in the spirit.

    Birthing

W e have gone through a season of Birthing as the Body of Christ.

Before every great move of God, the People of God go through much pain and struggle to bring forth the power of God into this Earth’s realm

Many within the body of Jesus Christ after going through the desired process of becoming ‘heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ;’ should expect to also suffer as He did. Rachael in this story during the nine months of gestation and delivery, suffered so much sorrow that when she gave birth to Benjamin she named him Ben Oni, Son of my sorrow, she died never understanding that her (child) ministry would bring total glory to God.

Jacob named His son, Benjamin, Son of my right hand, that which was familiar to him, a (Child) ministry he was capable of producing and promoting, one in which he functioned and was sure to be successfully administered. A (child) ministry that did not bring glory to God, but glory to ‘himself’, he being labeled a trickster and a deceiver, passed on to his son an inheritance of his own personality.

During the latter years of Jacobs’s life, his name now changes to Israel,¹ he blessed his sons, and as he blesses Benjamin, He said: "Benjamin is a ravenous wolf; in the morning he devours the prey, in the evening he divides the plunder.

The Bride of Christ who is called in her hour to bring forth the power of the Almighty God, those who are only interested in obtaining status with their own selfish motives and desires, will also in this hour labor to bring forth (A child) ministries after their own kind, ministries that will be called ravenous wolves.

Those who follow after the heart of God and seek an intimate relationship with Him will bring forth (child) ministries after His kind.

A garden enclosed is my sister,

    My Spouse!

A spring shut up, a fountain sealed,

    Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south wind;

    Blow upon my garden,

That the spices thereof may flow out

Let my beloved come into His garden

    And taste His pleasant fruits

    Solomon’s Song 4:12, 16

T he Song of Solomon is a beautiful scene of our Lord Jesus and His bride, the Church. Throughout the many illustrations, the bride groom is drawing his future bride out of herself and into an intimate relationship with Him.

In this featured passage, the bride, who at the onset of this relationship refuses to open up and be exposed to the emotional imbalance that cripples her, capturing her sense of growth and her ability to communicate her insecurities to Him. He has visited her on many occasions, but on this visit, through the encouragement of the love she had discovered in Him and His dealings with her through a period of time, He finally achieves His goal.

He awakens her emotions by allowing the strong north winds of harsh conditions, disappointments and torrents of scandals and wrong accusations to come her way, and then a refreshing south wind to blow upon that secret place that encloses her heart, her pain and her suffering hidden behind a mask called, ‘Self’. A place she had gained control of while seeking for the happiness and pleasures she needed to fulfill her dreams and her heart’s desires.

In this place where she had suffered resulted in a vast array of rejection and suffering and this she encountered while trusting totally in Him, not understanding that the reason He was allowing her to encounter these conditions was to bring her into His complete purpose for her life, which is to live and reign as ‘sons’ of God, Romans 8:14, 16-18 (KJV): declares that For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together; For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

The bride in her pursuit of happiness loses her ability to demonstrate by faith that which she could not see, feel or touch. She held on to and followed after that which was familiar to her senses, appeasing her natural desires of the flesh and not of the Spirit.

Through His divine intervention, He allows a fragrance of His love into her heart removing the mask and revealing a depth of expression that flowed as a river of living water from within her, exposing her innermost being, giving her a desire of becoming one with Him, and the ability of producing after His kind as she cried out!

Many within the body of Jesus Christ after going through the desired process of becoming ‘heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ;’ should expect to also suffer as He did. Rachael in this story, during the nine months of gestation and delivery brought so much sorrow, that when she gave birth to Benjamin she named him Ben Oni son of my sorrow. She died never understanding that her (child) ministry would bring total glory to God.

Jacob named His son, Benjamin, Son of my right hand that which was familiar to him, a (Child) ministry he was capable of producing and promoting, one in which he functioned and was sure to be successfully administered. A (child) ministry that did not bring glory to God but glory to ‘himself’, he being labeled a trickster and a deceiver, passed on to his son an inheritance of his own personality.

During the latter years of Jacobs’s life, his name now changes to Israel declared a word over Benjamin as he blesses him "Benjamin is a ravenous wolf; in the morning he devours the prey, in the evening he divides the plunder" Genesis 49:27 (NIV)

The Bride of Christ who is called in her hour to bring forth the power of the Almighty God, those who are only interested in obtaining status with their own selfish motives and desires will also in this hour labor to bring forth (A child) ministries after their own kind that will be called ravenous wolves.

Those who follow after the heart of God and seek an intimate relationship with Him, will bring forth (A child) ministry after His kind. Paul said in Romans 8:18-23, "I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.

Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies." They will see in this hour the power of God in demonstration. The dead will be raised, the sick will be healed and the lame will walk again. The Bride of Christ will in this hour demonstrate the power
