    A Manual for Humanity

A friend confessed she had always wanted to read the entire Bible at least once before she died. When asked what was stopping her, she replied I’ve tried, but it’s just too confusing, I get lost in all the words and finally just give up. I can’t make sense of any of it, and I have so many unanswered questions.

Have you ever questioned your own existence and purpose in life? Do you lack direction in life? Do you wish life came with a manual on what you were supposed to be doing?

God has provided us with a Lifetime Guarantee, it is a free gift, and it is available to everyone. The Bible is our manual, it was written as a guide, explaining our past, encouraging us in the present, and pointing us toward our eternal future of peace and harmony.

The first Bible I remember receiving, was given to me when I was nine years old. Whenever reading a verse that made an impression on me, I would underline, or circle it, in order to find it easily later on. My Aunt would scold me for marking up a sacred book. The habit was never broken, it has remained my way of searching the scriptures; the marked verses are my Hidden Treasures and Pearls of Wisdom.

The Bible remains a magical book for me, the words and phrases will stand out differently, with each reading. The messages are continually refreshing, and comforting, they are my love letters from God.

This book was started eight years ago, after speaking with my friend, Esther, who wished it was easier for her to understand the Bible. Seven marked bibles, accumulated during the past 65 years, were opened one by one; I began entering all the marked verses, into a word processing program, and then sorted the verses into various categories.

The messages within this manual, reflect my personal understanding on each life lesson, that I have discovered over the years. The bible verse locations are listed above each lesson, for your own research.

I have never been able to memorize details, and immediately turn to specific verses in the Bible. The messages are remembered, but not their exact locations. If you have a similar problem, you may find it helpful to use a note book or topic cards for organizing your research details. Purchase a quality Bible Concordance, for locating specific verses via word searches. Many Bibles provide word referral hints, by using small sized numbers or letters, which then match up with similar information sites. Location details are placed along the bottom, or down the middle of each page.

It does not seem to matter, which Bible version you study, the life lessons remain the same. The wording may vary, but the essence of God’s messages never alters! Excellent insights for successful living are found in all versions, because the Holy Spirit continues to inspire and protect God’s words. The New King James Bible and The Living Bible are my favorite versions for ease in reading.

In searching the scriptures, you will find the explanations for your existence, history and future. You will find advice, for safe navigation through your adventures in life. You will gain increased hope, and encouragement. You will learn about the eternal peace, awaiting you and your loved ones, within God’s Kingdom.

Your Father in Heaven desires you to find contentment in your life. Your faith and trust will increase as you study God’s words and you will become productive companions, for everyone you interact with in life. It is within a close partnership with God, that you find true happiness, lasting contentment, and increased opportunities to help build up God’s Kingdom.

You are living in a wonderful universe, designed by a loving creator. You will come to understand, that we are simply short term visitors on this Earth, and that death is not our ending, but our beginning.

    Jewels in God’s Crown

    God’s View of Humanity

    Malachi 3:17

We are God’s special treasure. They shall be mine, says the Lord of hosts, on the day that I make them my jewels. We are all God’s children; his faithful children will shine as the jewels in his crown".

When troubles come your way, God is polishing you, helping the inner you shine more brightly. Your spiritual glow will provide comfort and joy for everyone you come into contact with. Perfection of quality is only achieved through following the teachings and examples of Jesus.

God supports us through our earthly trials, he desires us to return the favor, by helping and supporting others, who are having a rough time in their life. You become a better counselor, after facing and surviving similar sorrows and challenges within your own life.

At the age of nine, I opened my heart to receive God’s blessings, goodness, and mercy. The desire to become one of God’s Diamond Ladies, continues to this day. I was once told nature teaches us that a worthless lump of coal will become a valuable Diamond, if it is placed under sufficient pressure for an adequate amount of time.

Life is truly a wondrous adventure. We cheerfully experience the joys of good health, family, friendships and laughter. We can also overcome the down times of loneliness, illness, pain, and deaths of loved ones, when we have complete faith and develop patience in God’s compassion to carry us through the rough times.

I firmly believe all of life’s sorrows, will be completely over shadowed and permanently forgotten, within the light and warmth of God’s eternal love.

    Protection of

    Scriptural Truths

How God keeps his messages pure:

    2 Timothy 3:16

All scripture is given by the inspiration of God, and is profitable for your doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness.

God wants you to be complete and thoroughly equipped for every good work.

All scripture is useful, to teach you God’s truth, and help you realize which habits you may have in your own life, that are unacceptable in God’s sight.

Scriptural truths contain God’s power, and they continually help you to identify and comprehend the difference between light and darkness.

The Scriptures were written for your benefit; each message is God’s way of making you well prepared, at every point, and fully equipped, for sharing kindness and goodness with everyone you meet.

    2 Peter 1:19

If you are smart, you will pay close attention to everything the prophets have written; their words are lights shining in dark corners.

The instructions of the prophets can help you understand, and overcome, all the dark and difficult times in your life.

Prophetic words will dawn within your soul, as a bright light guiding you, until the Morning Star (Christ) shines within your heart.

    2 Peter 1:20

No prophecy of Scripture was of private interpretations. Prophecy did not come to us by the will of man, but by holy men of God. They spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

    Isaiah 50:4… 9

The Lord God has spoken to you, and you should listen. Do not rebel, or turn away, from messages sent by God.

The Lord God has given you his words of wisdom, in order for you to understand his will for you and to comfort others in your life who are weary.

Morning by morning he awakens you, and opens your understanding to his will. The Lord God helps you, do not be dismayed; simply follow his instructions and realize you will triumph over this life.

When the Lord God is for you; you will not be disgraced or ashamed, and no one will ever be able to condemn you or declare you guilty!

    2 Timothy 4:2

Preach the word of God, urgently at all times, whenever you get the chance, even when it seems inconvenient.

Never overlook sinful behaviors, acknowledge sin to be unacceptable and denounce it. Never ignore sin, encourage others to do what is right and patiently feed them God’s Word.

Soon the time will come, when the masses will not endure sound doctrine. They will seek teachers that agree with their own desires, and will leave God’s truth to believe in fables.

    1 Corinthians 8:4

Remember this fact, there is only one God, and no other. All the Idols in the world, that been crafted by man’s hands, are not gods, none of them have the power to help or save anyone. We are saved through Christ; he paid for our salvation with his own blood on the cross.

    Warnings!

    Final Judgment truths exposed:

    Isaiah 66:4

The people are being deluded; they are choosing evil, over Godliness. God calls, but no one answers him, God speaks, but no one hears him, the masses have stopped listening for God’s call.

    2 Timothy 4: 1

The living and the dead will be judged at Christ’s return.

    Romans 6: 23

The wages of sin is death.

    Matthew 10:28

Do not fear those who kill the body, but cannot kill the soul. Fear God who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

    Acts 3:23

Every soul who will not listen to Christ will be utterly destroyed.

    Job 34:21… 22

God watches our actions, and with his own eyes, he sees our activities; sinners have nowhere to hide.

    Isaiah 28:22

Do not mock God, hear the Lord God of hosts, destruction is determined upon the whole earth.

    Job 34:14… 15

All flesh will perish, and return to dust, when God takes back his Spirit and his breath.

    Psalms 94:17

Your soul will dwell in silence, unless the Lord helps you.

    Isaiah 50:11

When you live in your own light and wisdom and not within God’s, you will live in torment.

    Listen to God

    Importance of listening to God:

    Hebrews 2:25

Refusing to listen to God places you in terrible danger.

    Job 42:4

Listen to God, he will speak to you.

    Isaiah 46:3, 4

Listen to God, he has created you and will care for you.

    Isaiah 46:12

Listen to God, he offers you his deliverance; he is ready to save you.

    Psalm 46:10

Listen for God’s voice in the stillness and learn God’s will for you.

    2 Tim 2:15

Study God’s messages diligently and avoid shaming yourself.

    Hebrews 2:25

Obey God who is speaking to you.

    Isaiah 59:1

Talk to God, he hears you; he is not weak or deaf.

    2 Timothy 4:3… 4

There will come a time when people will refuse to listen to the truth; they will search for teachers who will tell them only what they want to hear. They will not listen to what the Bible says; they will follow their own misguided ideas. They will either deny that God exists or they will make up a God or Gods to suit their own beliefs.

There are large groups of people trying to keep God out of our lives, schools, politics, and especially out of our nation.

History is full of stories about nations, who threw God away, and those nations were ultimately destroyed at God’s command.

Removing God from our lives will always bring our destruction. Without the knowledge and truth of God’s goodness, and our acceptance of his guidance, man forgets what makes him human. We will follow God by our free choice, or follow Satan, by default.

Without God’s love and guidance in their lives, men and women are worse, than any of earth’s ferocious wild animals; who only kill for survival. History has recorded how mankind is willing to annihilate their enemies, friends, even families, out of lust, hatred, fear or greed.

    God is Talking—

    Are You Listening?

How does God communicate with humanity?

    1. God speaks to us through the written words of scripture.

    (2 Timothy 3:16)

    2. God speaks to us in our dreams.

    (Numbers 12:6 . . . 8)

    3. God gives some visions while they are fully awake.

    (Acts 11:5)

    4. God sends angels with messages and instructions.

    (Matthew 1:20)

    5. God speaks to us through nature and the miracles seen in it.

    (Habakkuk 3:3 . . . 5)

    6. God reveals himself in poetry, song, family and friendships.

    (Personal experience)

When you turn your eyes and ears towards God, taking the time to slow down and be still, you will see and hear his messages all around you.

When you take the time to read God’s messages, found within the scriptures, you soon find a greater meaning to life. All the petty little problems pale in comparison, to the glory of God’s plans for you.

Death loses its sting, because the loss of loved ones is only temporary. The loss still hurts, but it does not devastate you. You will find hope in the promises of God. God cannot lie and what he has said will always come to pass.

Let go of your desire to know, and control, everything happening in your life. In spite of life’s pressures or adversity, encourage faith to grow, and become an example for those around you. Allow others to draw comfort, and strength from you, learning from your own experiences.

Never lose your joy for life, nurture your hope, and keep your Lamp of Faith burning brightly.

Joyfully begin each day with God, reading his word, praying for the indwelling Holy Spirit of God, to help and guide you.

When you or your loved ones are under stress, remember the peace you find, through sincere prayer. No situation, you find yourself in, is beyond the range of God’s interest in you.

God loves each and every one of his children, regardless of our believing in him or not; we are all his children.

Resolve to remain content in all situations, remember that God is always in full control. Even when you cannot see God working in your life, or understand the reasons for what is happening to you at the moment, keep your faith.

God is honored by your faith and trust in him. Listen to God’s wisdom, grow strong and prevail, in your earthly life. Situations in life always change, and they do not always fit within your desires and plans, but you must keep moving forward in faith. God knows your future.

God has a plan for you; never give up on his promises! God is never wrong. Talk things over with him, like you would with a best friend. Confide in God, whenever you feel confused, worried, or afraid. God directs your decisions, and opens new pathways for you to follow.

Let God perform his will in your life. It is extremely important that once you have given your problems to God, you stop worrying about them, never take them back from God’s shoulders. God promised he would lighten your burdens, and give you his peace; it is your part, to hold onto your faith and trust in God’s will.

We must remember to value the time and talents of those around us and be respectful towards them. We would be wise to acknowledge that others have purpose in their lives, even when they do not walk upon the same path as we do.

Accept the fact that others may not view the world as you do, and realize that being different, does not mean that one of you must be wrong. Make every effort to remain true to God and yourself.

Christ’s twelve hand chosen disciples often argued among themselves, but God loved each one of them, and guided them individually. God corrects each one of us, as it becomes necessary, only when we are willing to listen to his instructions and honor his Son, Jesus.

Let your actions in life emulate beacons of light, directing others towards God. Your actions always speak louder than your spoken or written words. Others watch you and some will follow your lead.

Remember, your Father is watching over you, and he will always protect you from danger.

Treasure each moment of your life, play in the sunlight and leave the worrying to your Father. Your part in life is to enjoy what you have and stop worrying about the troubles that may come your way.

    Isaiah 51: 4

Listen to God, hear his pleas and remain part of his family. God makes his justice rest upon you, as a light.

    Isaiah 51:6

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, look on the earth beneath. The heavens will vanish away like smoke, the earth will grow old like a garment, and those who dwell on earth will die in like manner.

God’s salvation will be forever, and his righteousness will never be abolished.

    Isaiah 51: 7

Listen to God. Those who understand righteousness have his laws within their hearts.

Do not fear the reproach of men or fear their insults. God’s righteousness will be forever and his salvation from generation to generation.

    Hebrews 13: 6

The Lord is your helper; do not fear what mere man can do to you.

    CHAPTER ONE

    GOD OUR FATHER

    Does a powerful God exist?

    Psalm 53:1

The fool has said in his heart, There is no God.

    Isaiah 41:4

God called the generations from the beginning, He is the Lord, the first and last, I AM HE. God is without father or mother; he is without beginning of days or end of life. He is the great I AM, The Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.

    Revelation 1:8

God told us that he was the A and the Z, the Beginning and the Ending of all things. He is the Lord, the All Powerful One who is, and was, and is coming again!

    Psalm 45:6

God’s throne is for ever and ever.

    Psalm 104:2… 4.

God covered himself with light as a garment, and stretched out the heavens like a curtain; he laid the beams of his upper chambers in the waters, made the clouds his chariot, walked on the wings of the wind, and made angels spirits and ministers of fire.

    Psalms 90:2

Before mountains were brought forth, or the earth was formed, from everlasting to everlasting, God was. God has no beginning or ending, because he is everlasting.

    Hebrews 11:3

Through our faith and belief, we know that the worlds were formed by the power of God’s words. All matter was formed from things which are invisible; God is able to rearrange atoms and control energy, God has created all things.

    2 Samuel 22:16

God created all things. The channels of the sea appeared; the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the Lord, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.

    Psalm 33:6… 11

By the word of the Lord, the heavens were made, all the host of them, by the breath of his mouth, God spoke and it was done.

    Psalms 36:9

God is the fountain of life and light.

    Psalms 104:5

God laid the foundations of earth; it will never be removed, forever.

    Isaiah 45:12

Jehovah made the earth and created man upon it, with his own hands; he stretched out the heavens and commanded all the vast myriad of stars.

    Nehemiah 9:6

The Lord God made the heaven of heavens and the entire host of Angels. All the stars and planets in the sky, the earth and all things upon the earth, the seas and all life within them are God’s creation and he preserves them all. The host of Heavenly Angels worship God.

    Psalm 104: 5… 9

God laid the foundations of the earth that it should not be moved; he covered it with the deep, as with a garment, the waters stood above the mountains, and at his rebuke they fled. The waters went to the places which God designed for them, and they stay at those boundaries, they cannot pass over them, or return to cover the earth again.

    Isaiah 42:5

God created the heavens and stretched them out. God spread forth the earth and all that comes from it. God gives breath and Spirit to the people who walk on it.

    Amos 5: 8

Seek the Creator of the Seven Stars, and the Constellation of Orion, the Lord Jehovah is his name.

    Job 9:9

God created the Bear, Orion and the Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.

    Job 38:31

No one but God can bind the cluster of the Pleiades, or loose the seven star belt of Orion!

    Psalm 104:19

He appointed the moon for seasons; the sun knows it’s going down, and he made the darkness of night. When the sun rises, the beasts of the forests lie down in their dens, and man goes out to his work and labors until evening. How majestic are his works and in wisdom he made them all. The sun marks the days and the moon marks the months.

    Zechariah 12: 1

The Lord stretched out the heavens and laid the foundation of earth, and formed the spirit of man within him.

    Isaiah 44:24

God formed you, from the womb. God makes all things.

    Isaiah 46:3

Listen to God, because he is your Creator and Savior. God created you and has cared for you from the womb. He will be with you for all time, even when your hair goes white with old age.

    Psalm 48:14

God is your God, for ever and ever, and he will be your guide even in death.

    Genesis: Chapter 1

God created the heavens and the earth in six days. The earth was a shapeless chaotic mass. God made the light and divided it from the darkness. God separated the vapors to form the sky above and the water below. God named the dry land earth and the water seas. God commanded the earth to burst forth with every sort of grass, seed bearing plants, and fruit trees. God set lights in the sky to give light to the earth, and to identify the day from the night, to bring about the seasons on earth, and mark the days and years. The sun was made to light the day, and the moon and stars to light and guide us through the night. God created fish, birds and every kind of animal, the cattle, reptiles and wildlife.

God made mankind like himself. The first man was Adam and the first woman was Eve, they were told to multiply and fill the earth; their first child was a son they called Cain. Man was created to be master of all life on earth. God looked at all he had made and it was excellent in every way. Creation took place in seven literally days; an evening and morning marked each day. God rested the seventh day, blessed it and declared it holy, because it was the day when he ceased creation.

    Job 12:10

God holds the soul of every living thing, the breath of all mankind.

    Numbers 27:16

The Lord is the God of the spirits, the life and soul of all flesh.

    Psalm 104:29… 30

God sends his Spirit and new life is born. God takes away your breath and you die and return to dust.

    Jeremiah 10:12… 13

Our God formed the earth by his power and wisdom, by his own intelligence; he hung the stars in space, and stretched out the heavens. It is his voice that echoes in the thunder of the storm clouds. He causes a mist to rise upon the earth, he sends the lightning and brings the rain, and from his treasuries, he brings the wind.

    Jeremiah 51:15… 17

God made the earth by his power and wisdom. He stretched out the heavens by understanding. When God speaks there is thunder in the heavens, and he causes the vapors to rise around the world. He brings the lightning with the rain, and the winds from his treasuries. When compared to God, all men are as stupid beasts; they have no wisdom, none at all!

    Lamentations 3:21… 26

It is only the Lord’s mercies that have kept the earth from complete destruction. Great is his faithfulness, his loving kindness begins afresh each day. Let your soul claim the Lord as your inheritance, have hope in Him. The Lord is wonderfully good to those who wait for him, to those who seek him. It is good, both to hope, and wait quietly, for the salvation of the Lord.

    Jeremiah 32:17… 19

The Lord God made heaven and earth by his great power and stretched out arm, there is nothing too hard for him. God shows loving kindness to thousands and forgives iniquity of the fathers and their children after them. The Great and Mighty God, the Lord of hosts is his name. Great in counsel, mighty in work, his eyes are open to all the ways of the sons of men, giving to everyone according to their ways, and the fruit of their doings. Walk with God and he will care for you!

    Daniel 6:26… 27

The God of Daniel is the living God, steadfast forever, his kingdom shall not be destroyed and his dominion shall be unto the end. God delivers his people, protects them from harm, he does great miracles in heaven, and earth on their behalf.

    Daniel 3:15… 25

Daniel and his friends refused to turn their back on God and kneel to worship the king’s idol, even under threat of being thrown in a furnace heated seven times the normal. They were bound and thrown in the furnace and the heat killed the ones that threw them in. They were sure of their God and his ability to deliver them. Onlookers knew only three were thrown into the furnace, but saw four men unbound walking around within the fire, and none were hurt by the flames. The fourth looked like a god to them. Not a hair of their heads was singed, their coats were not scorched, and not even the smell of smoke was upon them.

    Habakkuk 3:3.5

See God moving across the deserts from the mountains. His brilliant splendor fills the earth and sky. His glory fills the heavens and the earth and they are full of his praise! What a wonderful God he is! From his hands flash rays of brilliant light, and he rejoices in his awesome power.

    Psalm 68:17

The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of thousands. The Lord is among them, in the Holy Place.

    Psalm 104:3

God makes the clouds his chariot and walks on the wings of the wind.

    2 Samuel 22:11… 15

God rides upon a cherub and flies upon the wings of the wind. He thunders from heaven, he sends out arrows, lightning and discomforts man.

Is there more than one God?

    Deuteronomy 32:39

God alone is God; there is no other god with him.

    1 Kings 8: 60

People all over the world should know that the Lord is God, and that there is no other god at all.

    Isaiah 45:6… 7

There is no God besides the Lord, he formed the light and created the darkness. The Lord makes peace and creates calamity, he does all these things from the rising of the sun, to its setting.

    Isaiah 43:7… 15

There was no God formed before our God, neither will one be formed after him. God is our Lord, Savior, Redeemer, Holy One, Creator, and King. Everyone was created for His Glory; we were created and formed by him.

    Isaiah 45: 21, 22

God is Lord and there is no other God besides Him. God is a just God and a Savior; there is none other besides Him.

    Jeremiah 51:18… 19

Idols are nothing, they are lies, and the time is coming when God will return. God will destroy all the Idols. The God of Israel is real, he has made everything there is, and Israel is his nation. The Lord of Hosts is his name.

    Isaiah 45:15… 16

Truly he works in strange and mysterious ways. All who worship idols will be disappointed and ashamed. Fools manufacture idols for their gods and their hopes remain unanswered.

Their idols can neither see nor know anything. They carve their gods, from the same wood, that they burn for heat.

    Daniel 5:23

Have you praised gods of silver, gold, brass, and iron, wood and stone? None of them can see, hear, understand or answer you. Your breath is in God’s hands; glorify him alone, all the days of your life.

    Jeremiah 10:14… 16

Only foolish men, without knowledge of God, will bow before idols. It is shameful to make or worship frauds. The gods without life or power are all worthless and silly. They will be crushed, when their makers perish. The God of Jacob is not like your foolish idols, he is the Creator of all and The Lord of Hosts is his name.

    Ephesians 4: 4… 6

There is one body, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, God is above all, through all, and in all of you.

    Isaiah 43: 10… 13

God spoke: Understand that I Am He; before me there was no God formed, nor shall there be, after me. I, even I, am the Lord, besides me there is no savior. Indeed before the day was, I am he; there is no one who can deliver out of my hand, I work and who will reverse it?

    Is God merciful?
