There once lived the Sampson on Thompson Avenue. The couple had three children, David aged 13; Daniel, aged 10; and Daisy aged 8. Near where they lived was a small jungle in which lived monkeys, deer, beautiful butterflies, furious gorillas and vicious lions.
It was decided one day by the children’s father, Damien Sampson that they would go and visit the jungle with their cousin, Myra, aged 9. Myra lived all the way in Cardiff. The children hardly ever had a chance to see her as the journey took at least three days and they didn’t have the spare minutes. The last time they did was about nine years ago at Christmas when Daisy was just one day old. It was a very suitable time to go holiday as the children were on their summer vacation.
One summery, clear day at breakfast, Daniel asked his father, Dad, so when are we going to this jungle?
Well son, I asked my assistant (as their dad was an important man), to help me hire a tent for you and by tomorrow you will go,
replied his father sipping his tea.
After breakfast, the children decided to go out into the park for some fresh air. Each one of them had their very own bicycle which they received as a Christmas gift from their aunt Selma, who lived in Clacton- on- sea.
When they arrived at the park, they saw a clown who was a bit down in the dumps. So Daisy jumped off her bright red, spotty bicycle, headed straight towards the clown and asked him what the matter was.
