About this ebook
Desmond Mc Kean
I have learned poetry because of my studies of the Bible. I am an ordained minister, and I give public discourses like Martin Luther King Jr. or Kennedy. So these poems are in the format of a public discourse, only they rhyme. I am disabled and have some brain damage, but I also have a high IQ, or intellect, but I am very humble. I haven’t let it get to my head. It's my dream to change the lives of people for the better through poetry. I live in Hollywood, California. I spend my days talking to people using the Bible at the bus stop. But instead of a fanatical message of doom, I do all in my power to uplift and give people a hope for the future.

About the Author
(IN THIS BOOK THE TERM PROPHET IS USED TO MEAN ALSO ONE WHO IS GREAT AS IF THE TWO TERMS WERE ONE AND THE SAME)
Foreword
I know your probably wondering what this book is about. Well you might think that being a prophet is unrealistic, or that becoming great in such a manner is undesirable, or that there is no such thing, or that knowing almost as much as God knows is unattainable. You might even think that what God knows is unimportant, or that it is a waste of time, and that what really matters is what one learns in collage, so as to live a better life. Well I understand why you feel that way. But one can only attain a high I.Q. or wisdom by investigating an accurate understanding of the Bible. For there can be no higher knowledge than what God knows, (which will be discussed at length later in this book). But please don’t be too quick to reject this ideal. Once you’ve read the entire book you will be convinced that the bible is far superior to the worlds so called greatest minds. So I want to share this knowledge with you. I have attained that high I.Q. or wisdom. It took me 20 years to do so. What makes me qualified to help you is that I am an ordained minister, or religious leader. In reading this book, it will guide you to becoming a person with an extremely high I.Q. and the possibility of becoming great, like Einstein, or Kennedy, or Martin Luther King Jr., or babe Ruth, but without the stress or struggle. Please read the rest and you’ll be convinced that attaining such a thing is not a fantasy but a reality, (that is if you have what it takes). Yet, you will offered help along the way. This book is not boring and it is not just entertainment. It is a virtual blueprint on building the reader into becoming like King Solomon (the wisest man in all the earth). It might seem that, that is unreal. Yet I have climbed to such a summit myself. So I will be your guide. The purpose of this book is to remove all obstacles from doing so. You can believe this just as you could believe a television broadcast of a mountain climber at a press conference when he says, I have reached the summit, the flag is planted.
You will accomplish this too if you read this entire book.
Chapter 1
How to become great
When you think of greatness what comes to mind, well, initially, some say that if you have lots of money and friends, and, that,(if you’re the life of the party) that you are really a somebody. But not many of these ones are known the world over. So is fame the answer? well many movie stars find that they don’t have any privacy from fans, they are constantly hounded by the media, tabloids, and the poparatsi, often they lead lives that are racked with difficulties like stalkers, kidnappers, drug addiction, etc. Yet you may still insist that these ones are great. Well, in a way, what you’re saying is true, in essence greatness is measured by how one has left his mark on society. So those who have had an impact on society are much greater than a movie star. Take for example [Newton, Alexander the Great, Einstein, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King Jr., but there is a greatness even greater than these ones. For example, you have probably heard of the Pharaohs of Egypt. The fame of Egypt reached many lands. It was the first empire, per say. Pharaoh himself believed that he was God incarnate or Rah. He built impressive structures, and many people did believe that he was God. Even the gods they worshiped seemed to mystify its onlookers, (a man with a falcons head, a cat with green eyes, and a lion with a man’s head). But what happened over time, eventually Pharaohs great works and fame were forgotten, buried under the sand. And even though his kingdom and artifacts were rediscovered, his gods and fame is outdated, no one really believes he is God anymore. But there is one man who made such an impact on the world, that it has lasted for two thousand years and will continue to last, and although he did not build great works or accomplish tremendous achievements, what he taught had such an impact on the world that it has become worldwide and has shaped our society without dying out at all. That man is Jesus Christ. In other words, the wisdom of God is far superior than ideals or achievements of men. And such wisdom and greatness is much easier than worldly achievements to attain. For instance people like Einstein, Babe Ruth, ands Kennedy had to struggle in collage, overcome tremendous obstacles, yet they ended up crowding out a normal way of life, but those who seek spiritual greatness don’t have to break their neck to become great. Take for example Martin Luther. He brought about the reformation; he changed all of Europe within a short period of time. In fact, if this didn’t come about, you would not have religious freedom today, much less any kind of freedom. Yet one can become great without having an impact on the world. For example if someone is extremely intelligent or wise, he may not be well known, yet he is great in the sense that he is head and shoulders above the rest. Just like a father is more advanced than his son. Really most all have some kind of talent or ability that can be developed. Yet one must be humble along with his ability, otherwise it will corrupt him, and make him proud and braggingly obnoxious. One is not mature or truly wise if he comes across as superior. A father is not much of a father if he comes across as superior, and has no love for his son. So to be truly great or being great in the sense of having good qualities that make us desirable to other people is more important. To do so, one needs to turn to a higher source of understanding, than merely the shifting sands of human reasoning, that is impressive at first but upon evaluation and time becomes known as being faulty. In comparison the words of the bible are everlasting and without flaw, Consider this example of its superiority, note this Illustration. A man is busy trying to solve a rubics cube. But he is getting nowhere. Than another man comes along and says, I can help you, let me see your rubics cube.
So he easily solves the puzzle, than he says, I can guide you so that you can do the same thing
. But the other man says, No thanks, I know all about puzzles.
So he goes back to being busy trying to solve the puzzle, but not being able to get past the block of not solving the puzzle, because of relying on his own ability rather than looking to a higher source of understanding. In other words, we can see the facts like colors on a rubics cube, but because were not turning to a higher source of information, we will not be able to draw the right conclusion from those facts. Just as a child cannot understand complex ideals, we draw the wrong conclusion from those facts. It is not until we turn to those who know more than us. Only then will we be able to get passed the block of ignorance.
In other words, if we think that by reading a few pages from a flight book that we know the same thing as someone who flies’ a 747. Than were not thinking straight. If we reject divine wisdom, than we will stay in a state of ignorance. Like a person who thinks he knows as much as someone who flies’ a 747, just because he read a flight book. There are people and organizations on this earth that know more than we do. Even those who are considered to be the world’s greatest minds or intellectuals are in such a state of ignorance. Who would you say knows more? Those who are tackling the world’s problems though a think tank. Or God himself. So those who truly know what God knows will be able to run circles around such individual’s. If you were to have a public debate between a wise man and a worldly intellectual; after hearing both sides, the audience would conclude that the wise man who knows what God knows has a higher understanding than the worldly intellectual. And it only makes sense that God knows more than us. Does not the design and fine tuning of the universe indicate that there must be a designer? If he designed this complex universe to which scientist are barley scratching the surface of understanding; the basics of how it works, than obviously one needs to turn to the bible if we are going to be in the position of being like a
