Tim, who came to know Jesus at the age of nine, has spent the last fifty-one years on his own personal odyssey with Jesus and can attest first hand that following Him has not always been easy, but always rewarding.
Missionary work at home and abroad have shown him the plight of human beings who have no hope in this world. Because of that, he has made it his life goal to provide clear, concise and down to earth teaching of God's Word so that all can come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Tim has studied and taught the Bible, particularly prophecy, for over 25 years and at one time hosted his own radio program in the Dallas/Fort Worth area entitled "The Church, the Tribulation, and You" in which he taught Bible prophecy. His down to earth, no nonsense approach to Bible teaching, sense of humor and his use of poignant illustrations turns his commentary on the Book of Revelation into an enjoyable and thought provoking odyssey. Drawing upon his many years teaching Bible prophecy and his experiences, both within the Church and the business community, have given him particular insight into prophetic truths as they apply to the Church and to our world.
Tim has a pastor's heart and a sincere desire to bring understanding and the clear message of hope that the Book of Revelation wants to convey. He has written this book with the layperson, Christian or non-Christian, in mind who may or may not have a background in the teachings of the Bible.
Tim and his wife Renea, who is a school teacher, live in Mineral Wells, Texas, just a stone's throw (he likes to say), from the Brazos River in Palo Pinto County. His adventurous spirit has taken him on two expeditionary efforts to the South Pole and to the continent of Africa to share the love of Christ. He works in the aerospace industry and still finds time to read, study and teach a weekly adult Sunday School class at Indian Creek Baptist Church.
Tim loves his church and especially enjoys socials with his 60 to 80 year old Sunday School class members. He has three adult children and five grandchildren! He enjoys, of course teaching, golf and fishing with his two sons (occasionally his oldest grandson), flying, traveling, fellowship with friends and family, and the sport of rodeo.view less
