About this ebook

When I began to read Revelation in preparation for writing this book, I would see just how much God loves His people. I had never seen this before in my reading of Revelation. But now as I read, I would let God open my heart for Him to give me His understanding of this amazing book of the Bible.

The love of God can so easily get lost in reading the book of Revelation. But as you read Revelation youll see the love of God, the love of Jesus, and what a great God we all serve. So I ask that you read the Holy Bible along with my book to affirm that what you read in my book is in agreement with what it says in the Holy Bible.

It is my hope that as you read Revelation you will see the Lord God and Jesus Christ have revealed all we will ever need to know about the end times. It is also my hope that you will get a better understanding of Revelation just as it is written by Saint John the divine, the author of this wonderful book of Gods Word.

God has more in store for all believers than we could ever think of for ourselves and it is all in the book of Revelation to read.

    Revelation 1 thru 22

    I Timothy 3:16 (KJV)

    Romans 6:23 (KJV)

    Introduction

A bout ten years before publishing this book, God spoke to my heart that I would write a book about Revelation; and then I spent over a year writing this book.

Before I began to write, over the years I would think to myself; there is no way I could do this. But God in His love and grace gave me the courage to step out and do what He said I would do. So I finally began to write.

You see before I actually began to write this book I miss the importance of having to know much about the book of Revelation in my Christian life. I knew I was saved so why read something I did not understand any better than I did. So unfortunately years had passed in my Christian life in which I avoided this book of the Bible in any real serious reading. And as well in the passing of those ten years I avoided doing what I know God told me I would do. Instead I would continue to think to myself this same thought and more; there is no way to write about this book of the Bible without first hearing from God.

As you read Revelation you will see for yourself there is so much to know by having the understanding of the mighty word of God that is in this wonderful book of the Bible. And we must know and understand the prophecies of Revelation just as they were sent to St. John the divine; as he introduces himself to us in the title of the book of Revelation. He is on the isle of Patmos, where Jesus sent and signified these wonderful words of prophecy to him by Jesus’ angel.

Of course this is the same Saint John the divine who is the brother of James; a disciple of Christ, whom Jesus called the both of them, the sons of thunder. St. John the divine is also one of the twelve Disciples of Christ. St. John the divine is the writer of the gospel of Saint John, he is the one who Jesus referred to as the one whom He loved. St. John the divine is the one who Jesus while on the cross gave His mother to; Jesus said: woman, behold thy son; son behold thy mother! Finally but not all; St. John the divine is the writer of the first second and third Epistles of John in the New Testament.

St. John the divine received the words of Revelation on the isle of Patmos over two thousand years ago, and even to this day we can see how these words have challenged the world. But the one good thing about these challenging words you will not forget them. So with knowing this challenge before us, we all must challenge our understanding by asking God for His understanding; of His Word.

It is not my intention to try to prove anything other than what has already been stated by St. John the divine here in Revelation. Once again as we will see this prophecy was sent and signified by Jesus to St. John the divine and given to him by Jesus’ angel. So the church and the world should receive these words of prophecy just the way they were sent, and then wrote down by St. John the divine.

My book is not about revealing any prophecy concerning the things which must come to pass. I believe the book of Revelation was written to help the church see, and also for the world to see what God and Jesus Christ have to say about that which must come to pass.

It is very important that we know exactly what God and Jesus want us to know by reading it from the book of Revelation for our self. Also for the entire Bible; the Lord God, and our Savior Jesus Christ wants the church and the world to know for themselves; the Word of God; both the written word and the Word; which is Jesus Christ.

Please note: The Bible is the divine and supreme authority in written word for all people that confess Jesus Christ as there Lord and Savior. And for all of God’s creation, all should read and know the written Word of God. And then hopefully those that have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will do so now.

So I encourage you to ask God as you read Revelation to give you His understanding of His words to all.

The one thing we must know as we start reading the book of Revelation is; God cannot lie, and what you read happens, and will happen just as you read it in the book of Revelation. So it is very important that we do not put our intellect into what God has said, because we will always go wrong. I encourage you not to look at Revelation as what you can totally understand by your reasoning abilities. But rather by putting faith in what you believe to be God’s written word for you in the book of Revelation. Then you can allow your reasoning abilities to be guided by the Holy Spirit. And God will then give you His understanding of what He is saying to all creation.

    A Different Outlook

S o one day as I said about ten years after God spoke this to my heart; I finally sat down to write. But I still was not going to write about Revelation. And also during these ten years I had published my second book: The Assurance of God’s Presence. So now at this time as I was setting down to write; again God spoke to my heart, saying; it is now time to write about the book of Revelation. So that is what I finally did.

As I began to read Revelation I would see for myself in the first three chapters, examples of why I felt this way about Revelation. I would look at the words of Jesus which He spoke to the seven
