FOREWORD
I have been a friend of Ben’s for over thirty years. We did business together and also attended Bible study groups. When Ben told me that he was writing a book, I volunteered to write the foreword.
Numbers have always intrigued people. We have used them to show wealth, power, and prestige, and in most of those uses, they have not been beneficial. The phrase more is better
can become detrimental; understanding the detriment of more is better
can bring strife. However, this book will change all that when you find how numbers bring with them a much stronger meaning. To realize that each digit carries with it a meaning and to see the omnipotent wisdom that has been displayed where each is placed within the Bible is truly a divine design. I have read the Bible several times over the years and have always found the information to be compelling and beneficial to my spiritual life. I also found new information and insight that I never comprehended before.
With that said, we must remember that we are all spiritual beings encompassed in these earthly bodies, knowing that when they are gone, our spirits will soar. The Holy Spirit has shown Ben a new and uplifting view to one of the most interesting ideas I have ever read—the concept that the numbers in the Bible confirm the events with mathematical equations. I understand that the Bible has some hidden
secrets within it, due to the fact that mankind, being corrupted by evil, is compelled to destroy all that is good. God’s Holy Spirit has shown some of the hidden meanings within the Bible to Ben. I have found, as he easily explains the correlation of these numbers with mathematical laws, numbers that in my past readings carried very little meaning. Now their meanings become significant. I am amazed by the information in this book that you are about to read and study.
Many people are aware of the significance of the number one in reference to God and that three refers to the Holy Trinity (God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit). This book reinforces each number’s meaning and unlocks the meanings of many of the other numbers placed within the Bible. Ben references and defines with scripture. Find out why twelve was of importance to the tribes of Israel, why five defines Allah. Consider the forty days and nights of rain during the Genesis flood and why thirty pieces of silver were paid for the betrayal of Jesus. Some people withdraw when 666 is mentioned. Are you aware that those three digits are in each Universal Product Code? Many other numbers are studied for a better understanding of scripture.
By understanding the intrinsic values and usages of biblical numbers, today’s fulfillment of prophecy becomes visible. Perhaps you may not want to open your mind to such things as these numbers. Ignorance is a temporal bliss, and what you do not know cannot hurt you … or can it?

THIS BOOK—WHY?
When I was a small boy growing up in the decade of the 1940s, Pop would read to my little brother and me. Sometimes he would read comic books about Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, but mostly he would read stories from the Bible. My favorite story was about David and Goliath. In this story, David chooses five smooth stones from the brook to kill Goliath. I never questioned at that time why he chose five stones; I just accepted it as it was read to me. It took only one stone to kill Goliath. The seed of five stones, however, was sown in my mind. After some sixty years I questioned, why five stones and not only one?
If David had missed with the first, second, or even the third stone, maybe he would have needed the others, but he didn’t. When God chose David, his first attempt hit the target.
When David killed the lion and also the bear, David most probably would not have had a second chance to kill either one of them. From here, the search and research begins. Woven into biblical events are the quantitative values of numbers, as well as the intrinsic meaning of them. Here, I would like to point out that this book is not the numerology of the occult. Conversely, this book is about how our Creator defines and uses numbers. The initial purpose of the book is to ground you in learning the intrinsic meanings of numbers (single- and multi-digit) and how they are used biblically.
Second, the mathematical concepts and constructions of numbers—that is, sums, products, squares, numbers to the nth power, sets and subsets, and prime numbers—are illustrated. The proofs of these numbers and their probability of sequential occurrence go beyond coincidence. In ancient Hebrew, there is no word for coincidence. The probability of something just happening by itself does not exist; rather, occurrence is by God’s will, design, or purpose. The theory of evolution as a creation force is nonexistent. Any event or probability of a happening of less than one taken to the nth degree, when put into an equation, approaches zero as a limit. In mathematics, the value of a function that approaches zero as a limit is zero. In other words, it ain’t gonna happen!
Again, in ancient Hebrew, there is no word for coincidence.
Also, the theory of evolution defies the second law of thermodynamics. It implies a development of simple forms of life to more
