Deanna Laver

Syed Muslim Hasany is a Toronto-based author who is well known in literary circles for his Urdu poetry. He is the author of a book of Urdu poetry, Main Jahan Hoon (2004), which he is currently translating into English. He also recently published a children’s book, Where Is My Stethoscope? (2012). Syed has a master’s degree in biology from York University in Toronto. After working for thirty years in the field of corneal transplantation, he is now enjoying retired life with his wonderful wife, children, and grandchildren.
