Above the westward highway
And suddenly I see
The swoop of yin and yang

Some Of My Seasons
Spring
Blossoms glow, ghost-like
Plum tree under full moon begs
Wait, leaves, one more day.
Summer
Sprinkled yard dripping
My Pekinese plays hopscotch
With three hungry toads.
Autumn
Halo for the moon
Last leaves shiver, crystal frost
Cold bones grow older.
Winter
This majestic storm

Ode to A Faucet
A Blasphemous Comment on the Nature of Drains
The Lord is my plumber.
My drain shall clog.
It leadeth me to pump the plumber’s friend,
It maketh me to go long without water,
It gripeth my soul.
