    Jennifer Mader is a former elementary school teacher. She lives in New Orleans, Louisiana, with her husband and four children. Her stories about Fidget were inspired by both her years in the classroom and the squirrels in her mother-in-law's backyard. The squirrels gather at the back porch every day and wait for peanuts from the "Peanut Lady". One squirrel in particular is always more active and jumpy, similar to some former pupils in her class. Thus, Fidget was born! Jennifer hopes that children and parents enjoy reading about Fidget's adventures together.
