Author

Pauline Kurtz

Living with her husband, Bud, on a small family farm, Pauline Kurtz enjoys teaching high school English, creative writing, and ESL. Her love of telling stories comes from her father, but it was her mother’s family, the Reinerts, who so colorfully provided characters. Illustrator: Katie Leigh is an elementary school art teacher in Indiana. When she is not making art or in the classroom, she can be found playing piano and exploring the outdoors. While she was illustrating this story, she enjoyed touring historic homes and sites in Indianapolis.
