Pietro Grieco

Conocido por sus textos, conferencias, seminarios y retiros, Pietro Grieco, además de literatura, dictó una variedad de cursos sobre espiritualidad para la Universidad de California (San Marcos). Nació en Italia (1944). En 1953 viajó con su familia a Argentina. En 2002 se mudó a California (Estados Unidos), con su esposa Blanca M. Tidone. Actualmente, vive en Italia y continúa dando conferencias, conduciendo retiros y publicando sus mensajes en un blog. Además de la Universidad de California, ha sido profesor en la Universidad de Buenos Aires, la de Belgrano y otras instituciones. Luego de una dolorosa lucha interior, durante el año 2000, una noche despertó con la convicción de que la espiritualidad era independiente de las religiones y debía enseñarse como tal. Su sistema, emancipado de conceptos teológicos, se basa en utilizar piedras u otros elementos para revelar a cada persona su propio ser bello y armonioso. Todos los seres en su verdadera dimensión son espirituales, ya que la espiritualidad es inherente a cada individuo. Solo tienen que descubrirla. Grieco ejerció las más diversas actividades, desde pastor de ovejas, ayudante de sastre, barbero, cadete, carpintero, matricero, empleado, contador, asesor, director de sociedades y empresario. Para desarrollar el pensamiento espiritual, estableció fundaciones en Argentina y Estados Unidos. Retirado de la educación universitaria, se dedica feliz a escribir, dar seminarios, retiros y conferencias. Su hobby, cuando puede, es el golf.
