About this ebook
Theresa M. Sull M. Ph.D.
Theresa Sull taught in both preschools and colleges and consulted to families and other teachers. She earned her doctorate in educational psychology from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, not far from her home on the Eno River. Dr. Sull has a master’s degree in teaching young children with special needs, from Wheelock College in Boston. She holds undergraduate degrees from the State University of New York at New Paltz in English and day care administration. A career educator, Dr. Sull taught young children, college students, parents, and directors of private schools and child care programs. Theresa is also a passionate collector and writer of children’s picture books, but she cannot draw, paint, or use scissors! Just Right Julia, illustrated by Maggie Day Conran, is her first children’s book to be published. Having published over twenty articles and three books on children’s development, communication, and literacy, Theresa considers herself a bridge between theory and research and the places where children live and learn. Currently Theresa Sull enjoys the animal and bird activity in her backyard as she writes, edits, or knits. Readers can contact her by e-mail at tsull@nc.rr.com.

Seventeen Songs for Children - Theresa M. Sull M. Ph.D.
DEDICATION
To my granddaughter Abigail Day,
whose smiles inspired me to publish these songs.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Singing and dancing and a wide appreciation of music were precious gifts to me from my parents, Theresa C. and Michael F. Sudak. I am grateful to the many people who supported my writing, including especially my husband Gene, and daughters Linnet and Julia. I apologize to anyone whose influence I omitted. I am the only person responsible for any mistakes in this book.
