    Princess Zoe to the Rescue

Not too long ago, in a land not so far away, there was a kingdom full of fairies. Within this very kingdom, on top of the highest hill was a castle and this was where the Royal Fairies lived. They were the King, the Queen, the Prince, whose name was Callum, and the Princess, whose name was Zoe. In these stories, we shall follow Princess Zoe’s many adventures in this land, meeting both heroes and villains on the way.

The first hero that we shall meet is Zoe’s best friend, Ellie. These two were almost inseparable. They would spend every moment they could together, playing happily amongst the other young fairies. However, there did come a day where Zoe lost Ellie, and she went on a brave adventure to try and find her. This is what happened.

It was a warm sunny day. Zoe woke up and was shocked to learn that the Queen’s jewellery had been stolen. Thinking who would do something like that, she flew over to her friend Ellie’s house to play with her. When she got there, however, she was even horrified to find out that Ellie was nowhere to be found; she had been kidnapped by none other than the jewellery thief himself.

    Who did this?! cried Zoe.

It was…It was Daniel! sobbed Ellie’s mother.

Daniel was an evil ogre who was always trying to take over the kingdom. Only last week, he had tried to destroy every building that was involved with keeping the kingdom safe using every spare wand that he could find. As you can probably tell, he was defeated every single time by the King and Queen or the Fairy Police, but this time, he had thought out what he believed to be his greatest plan ever.

He had taken Ellie because he knew that Zoe would try to find her friend and get lost as a result because she had no idea where he lived. The King and Queen would be so sad that she was gone that they wouldn’t be able to stop Daniel from taking over without getting even more upset. He had taken the jewellery because he wanted to have some nice things for once and because stealing it would distract the King and Queen from trying to find Zoe before it was too late.

Zoe desperately tried to find Daniel and Ellie, but Daniel had covered up his trail to stop anyone from following him. Zoe was getting more upset every minute.

Ellie, where are you?! she wailed.

Eventually, Zoe ended up next to a very odd thing to have in a land of fairies: a little railway that ran through the kingdom taking humans and fairies that were unable to fly to different places. Finally, she decided to give up searching. As she started crying, one of the railway’s engines, a dark green steam train, came up to her. This engine’s name was Fletcher, and he had just been fixed by Zoe’s grandfather, who ran the railway.

Hello, said Fletcher, "What’s the matter
