In this book four teenagers get into way over their heads when they find the Amulet of the Dragons. From there the story takes many twists and turns till you reach the end. It has been many years since the world’s greatest heroes have saved the world from the evil Spellmaster and the Shadow knight. In a surprising twist they were no older than thirteen. This is their story. The 4 of them have always been best friends even when they were little. They don’t remember how they met but nor do they care. Cody Ryder is the brains of their group. He has brownish blondish hair and green eyes and is obsessed with his technology, but he can also fight like a martial arts master. He has many secrets, but he is one of the most trustworthy people in the world and would never let his friends down.

Maria Jacobs is the tough girl of the group. She takes nothing from nobody and she will always protect herself and her friends no matter what happens. She has jet black hair and blue eyes. She is a fighter but is a softy at heart.

Alex Rhodes is always sarcastic and always in trouble, but mostly because he is helping Cody with some sort of scheme. Most importantly no matter what, he will always stand his ground and look after his friends. Alex has blonde spiky hair and has hazel eyes.

Last but certainly not least is Lisa Diamonds. She is a strong willed fun loving girl. She has amber colored hair and brown eyes. She has many moments where you would think that she is blonde but she will surprise you with what she can think of. They were just normal teenagers until the day that everything came crashing down on them. It happened so fast to my memory I can only document this and only this, then I will rely on the children to take over for me. I was there mentor for a short time, but that is a story for another day. You see their story all began on a Monday of all days.

It all started on a normal school day. In fact it was pretty bland day. The teachers were yelling over some missing homework assignments. Cody hadn’t bothered to do his because he was up all night playing video games with Alex over at Alex’s house. But that wasn’t new; nothing was ever new in Woodston. This was a under populated town. There had no more than 500 people at a time; and nothing ever happened. It was always hot and sunny with little rain if any at all. But recently something strange had been occurring over the last few days. The hot and sunny weather had turned into ice cold 20 degree weather with massively powerful winds capable of knocking over trees. The sky had also been a dark fearful grey and thunder crackled. But the strangest thing was that even though the sky was grey with loud booms of thunder no lighting stuck, and not even a drop of rain fell. After they had all gotten out of school for the day, they went to their clubhouse.
