The Melting of the Golden Spoon: Getting Back the Middle Class
()
About this ebook
Michael E. Mitzelfelt
The author started his life in poverty in a small midwestern town. His father, a factory worker, later created the American dream for his family through a union and middle class wages. He learned through him the value and stability in the home and in the workplace. He also learned that these necessities were fought for through hardship and solidarity. He has continued the fight for many years trying to restore the middle class and worker's rights. The author has worked as a union representative voicing concerns and emotions of employees to the best of his ability. He has watched and listened not only in his own workplace but anywhere there is a conversation. The only opinions heard are the people making the rules and not the people that live by them. People are fed up and bad things will happen soon. It is already starting and no one is listening. With a degree in communications and the ability to relate, the author wanted to be the voice for the people that don't have one.
