About this ebook
Julie Mouzakis
I am a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor's degree in English and a minor in Creative Writing. In the near future, I plan on furthering my education at The University of Texas with a Master's degree in Library and Information Science. Poetry has flowed from my fingertips since I was in grade school. The words expressed have never been forced or contrived. They are there for others to find what might lie at the end of time. I was born and raised in Texas, and am proud to be in this great state. My parents have always been supportive and loving (even if I did turn out to be a poet). The majority of my days are spent in deep thought and uproarious laughter. I love the strains and demands of the growing human spirit. Music and poetry soothe my soul and keep me energized. Jim Morrison is still The Lizard King.

At the root of life, we are all individuals on a personal journey of the self. Certain people we cross paths with are destined to be in our lives for whatever reason. It is up to the individual to decide if the reason is useful, productive, and necessary. Value the part of yourself that no one can take from you, because they never will have a chance to understand, or fully see. We all fail to realize that when we are wrapped up in our own thoughts, feelings and emotions, every single other person is as well. It is hard for anyone to see past themselves. So make sure that the person the
