For five years, I have been living in Montreal, learning English and French. I was born in South Africa, and my first language is Afrikaans. Without my family, friends, and teachers, I would not have written this book. These poems inspired me by my grade-six class.
I hope you will enjoy the poems, and I hope you will understand the same feeling as I did!
