Let the Adventures Begin
Kennedy was an adventurous and very athletic girl who loved exploring and taking charge. She immediately became the leader of a group of children who had recently moved into a new neighborhood. They lived on a cul-de-sac, which was a perfect setting for what was soon to become a tight-knit bunch known as the Alhambra Crew.
Their first adventure was to explore their new surroundings by going on long hikes, creating new bike paths, checking out the creek and its occupants, climbing and identifying trees, hunting salamanders, lizards, bugs, frogs and other creatures.
