About this ebook

As Emily was laying in her bed thinking about the days events, she realized that every time she wished something bad would happen to someone, it did. She thought, is this just a coincidence, or is her luck finally changing? Emily jumped from her bed because she realized that she left the stone in her pocket. She took the stone out of her pocket and washed it off in the bathroom sink. The stone was sparkling even brighter then before. Emily walked back to her bedroom and laid back down in her bed. Emily was looking at the stone, continuing to think about the days events, when she thought, maybe just maybe, it wasnt luck or a coincidence, but maybe the purple stone was what made the days events occur!

    A Typical Day

Emily was awoken by the loud sound of her alarm clock ringing. She rolled over and tapped the clock with her hand. She was in no hurry for school because it was the same routine every day. She peeked out from under the blankets. All she could see clearly in the dark was her porcelain dolls; all in a line on her bookshelves’ like they were ready to give a performance. Emily was lying in bed half awake and half asleep when Cody came into her dark room. He turned on the light and yelled, You better get up or we will be late for school! Emily yelled, You’re not the boss of me!

Emily slowly dragged herself out of bed. She went to the closet and thought to herself, what am I going to wear today? She picked out a bright yellow dress with white flowers. She wanted to take a look at herself, so she marched over to her stand up mirror in her bedroom. While she was combing her long blonde hair she thought, all I need to complete this outfit is my yellow hat. After she finished combing her hair, she put on her yellow hat with white flowers and hurried downstairs for breakfast.

When she arrived downstairs, Cody was sitting at the table eating. He was wearing blue jeans, an old t-shirt and his blonde hair didn’t look like it was even combed today. Emily sat down, but before she could even take a bite her mom yelled, Time to go!

They ran out of the house and jumped into the green jeep. When they arrived at the bus stop a lot of kids were already there. Some kids were playing tag and some were standing around talking. Cody hop out of the Jeep and ran over to his friends.

Emily sat in the Jeep with her mother watching all the other kids playing. Finally, the big orange bus was coming down the road. All the kids lined up in single filed and crossed the road to get onto the bus. While the children were getting on the bus, the bus driver, Ms. Wright, was hanging out the bus window flirting with all the children’s fathers who happened to be at the bus stop.

Ms. Wright thought she was the perfect women for every man. She always wore big earrings, high heals, and her clothes fit so tight it appeared she couldn’t breathe. When Emily finally got on the bus, she sat with her friend Sarah Petals. Emily said, Look at Ms. Wright. She’s flirting with boys. That’s gross! Sarah replied, It is gross! Finally the bus
