Tony Petrossian
Tony Petrossian was born in Teheran, Iran on Sep. 28-77. The American born in Iran is raised as Christian in a Muslim country. Armenian a small minority in Iran has been welcomed by the Muslim population for many generations; Tony came from a well known family in Teheran. He attended Armenian Grade School in the city of Teheran from 1982 to 1984. At the age of 7 Tony emigrated to the United States of America. During the time of our familys emigration circumstances surrounding the Islamic Revolution of Iran caused the emigration of many families to the Western States. Tony began grade school in the city of Glendale; his hobbies included football, weight lifting and love for music and writing. Tony began to write poetry and other literature at the young age of 14. Tony attended Hoover High School and continued his tenure until three weeks prior to his graduation. Tony passed away on May 30, 1995. He received his hard earned diploma posthumously, vis--vis family. Tony was well known by many. Not just at School, but by many people in Glendale. He was extremely popular, and regarded as Friend by many whose lives he happened to touch. Tonys humor and jovial personality were his best attributes. Every where that Tony went, he elicited joy. His family values taught him to respect and love. Tonys early death left his family and friends with many sweet memories.memories which we will treasure and hold. Tonys final written works (created 1 or 2 months before his death) speaks of friendship as a transitory and unreliable and destiny unable to be avoided, in his few writings he also shows his premonition for life and fate. Tony leaves his family grief-stricken and indescribably scarred for the remainder of their lives.

TONY, A REMARKABLE, LOVEABLE AND
FUNNY PERSON.
He always used to say, I feel good
.
Dedicated to good hearts,
To the parents of
Children who are with us forever.
To our Mom,

Nothing stops her from being supportive.
This Little book is a gift
A treasure for us

TALK TO THOSE WHO LOST THEIR CHILD, KNOWING IT
WILL AWAKEN SAD MEMORIES, BUT WILL ALSO REMIND
THEM OF HAPPIER DAYS.
For Him

REFLECTION
TONY WOULDN’T WANT US TO STAY SAD.
HE’D TELL US TO LIGHTEN UP, LET GO OF OUR
SADNESS.
THAT’S WHAT HE WAS ALL ABOUT-MAKING
PEOPLE FEEL BETTER ABOUT THEMSELVES.
-John Laue
Tony’s
memory
is still alive
and will live
in the words
he has left
behind’’

WAS MUCH YOUNGER. IN HIS SHORT LIFE OF SEVENTEEN YEARS, HE LEFT
US WITH PRECIOUS POETIC WORKS AND OTHER WRITINGS
EXPRESSING HIS INNER MOST FEELINGS.
HE WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY PROUD TO ENTER A POETRY
CONTEST, LIKE THE ONES IN HIS MEMORY.
MAYBE THIS WAY HIS WISH WILL BE FULFILLED IN HIS ABSENCE.
