black.jpgDog…and how did it come to acquire its name? Man named dog and God Named Man. When you spell dog backwards it is God. Not in the sense that dog is God but that dogs sometimes need Us as Man Needs God. We can deny the facts all we want, and make all the excuses we can muster up, but to deny God and the Lord Jesus is as bad for the soul as eating poison to die. God has inspired this book in my heart and I want to give him the glory for the words I am about to share with you. It is a gift from above that we have our pets. I want to share with all who read this book my gifted knowledge (Gods Gifts) about the care and needs of our furry friends, and what they need. Not just the basics, but the true sense of emotional, nutritional and physical care. Dogs play a huge roll in our lives (that is if you are a pet lover). They love us unconditionally (like Jesus). They need us because without our care they fend helpless. Our pets look to us for food, love, grooming and direction. In a sense they are little furry children God has placed in our care. It is our job to take the best care possible of all of Gods creatures big or small.
If for just one moment you can see what your pet sees through their eyes. If for just one moment you can feel emotional happiness or pain through your pets eyes. And, if for just one moment you could see through your pets eyes the love they must feel when we reach down to touch them, pet them and cuddle them. Their joy runneth over when it is feeding time! And, our joy runneth over with the total satisfaction of owning such an animal of devotion. The dog…what an incredible creature that is smart, cute and full of energy. Puppy-hood is like a new baby arrival. Shall I go on and on? We get the picture, right? All of us who are pet-maniacs, fanatical furry friend lovers, doggytarians and you name it, know exactly what I am speaking about. Ha! My dog would never do that? Or, my dog is perfect! And the best yet is… My Dog is the cutest dog ever
! God help us to love our pets more and to teach them the ways of love, peace and happiness. And we want to say Thank you God…for creating our furry friend the Dog.
Introduction
black.jpgWhen God was angry with Man and destroyed every living creature, he told Noah to build an ark. He told Noah to lead all the different animals of the earth, two by two, into the ark for safety, from the floods that were to come upon the lands. Instead of turning his back on them…he saved the lives of all living things to go and re-populate the earth….
Genesis 6:19 - You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you.
Even at the birth of Jesus he laid in a manger among animals.
Luke 2:7- And she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in strips of cloth and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
The Holy Spirit ascended upon Jesus when he was baptized in the form of a dove.
Luke 3:22 - And the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove.
I believe animals have a place in heaven for us no different than people have. Animals were a part of creation from the hand of God. They provide balance and equality for humanity in ways most people over look. It is the animals of the earth that create the balance upon our planet in which we live. God put them here for a reason. Maybe we are here to learn from the animal life, it’s survival, it’s power, the hierarchy, the ecology animals provide and the power of living in a natural environment for health. Animals are only a small part of the power and creation God placed in our care. It is our responsibility to care for Mother Earth, her animals and our own living health. God is Love…. so let’s Love Our Animals as much as we love our selves.
DSCN0666.JPGThe Real Pet Lover
black.jpgYou always know the real pet lover by the kind of spots they have, in other words by their action and behavior with animals. The real pet lover will take home a stray or feed hungry pets, work in the pet industry, be a responsible breeder, volunteer to the cause of pets, have one or more pets and is always eager to add a new pet to the family. A real pet lover will do what ever it takes to make sure their pet is not hungry, always safe and never lacking hugs and kisses and feels completely loved. Most Pet lovers buy treats and toys in excess and take their pets out on trips to fun places. The real pet owner will not give away their pet because of inconvenience such as trying to rent a house that says not pets. The real pet owner will take their pets along for a lifetime as a family member. It is a shame the many pets that end up homeless because someone decides to move into a home or apartment that says…..NO PETS. Would a parent move into a home and tell their kids… sorry but you are not allowed to move with us so you have to go to a new home
! No…of course not! The same goes with the real pet lover. It is not an option for a loving family member to be left behind. However, I have seen situations where a pet needs a new home because of sickness or death of a loved
