Theodore Boone

Theo Boone was born in Stuttgart, Arkansas, to Willie L. and Ernestine Boone (both deceased). He graduated from Conway (Arkansas) High School and Philander Smith College in Little Rock, Arkansas. He has been married for forty-three years to Barbara Evon Alexander Boone. He was a management employee in telecommunications for thirty years, retiring from Verizon in 2003. He was the visionary and owner of Heavenly MesQory Restaurant and other small businesses. In 1985, he moved to West Texas for career purposes and to learn to trust God. He is a founding member of the Jesus Christ Church in Ballinger, Texas, where he serves as the church’s overseer. He also cofounded Resurrection Anointed Ministries International (RAM) and the Trip Depot Reach Out Impact Service. Theo Boone is a servant of God, equipping and building up the body of Christ to do the work of the ministry. He has been involved in Mission ministry to Africa and South America. His present focus is “Local Mission” outreach beyond the walls and into the community. PREFACE

In this life we all must travel different paths to reach our destination and ultimately arrive at our destiny. Along the ways we experience side tracks, detours, distractions, and other life realities that can either delay, abort, or lead to route adjustment. We believe roadmaps and GPS systems can be beneficial on our journey. Yet, when those devices are not updated or recalibrated the journey can be quite frustrating by your being taken to places and traveling on routes that are unnecessary. I don’t know about you but I want to be able to trust and have confidence in the accuracy of the data being provided by my roadmap or GPS.

Time and experiences has proven that Life has both natural and supernatural realities influencing our travel and destiny! Therefore, we must consider both as factors in our quality of life and relationship influences.

Periodically, in this book we will reference a Book of Truth and Wisdom that can assist you in your travel to various short term destination. In addition, this Book can provide you with directions and instructions that will assist you in maneuvering through life’s many seasons of turbulence to your eternal destiny. I encourage you to pay attention and consider the offered advice in God’s Word! Proverbs 14:12(NLT) 12 There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends (destiny) in death.

Be encouraged to know that it is not too late to change the path you are traveling. Every choice one make places them on a pathway to a destination. Be encouraged to know that it is not too late to change the path you are traveling. Life has many exit and entrance ramps. If you are unhappy about the route you are traveling you can make up your mind and choose to take another. Life is available for all will accepted it from the Creator whom we all need and cannot exist without His provisions! So choose to TRUST HIM! Your choice will make a difference!

I am eternally grateful to God for His grace and blessing in allowing me to complete this project. I dedicate this book in honor and memory of my two beloved children, Jaral Marquise and Kesha Janeen Boone, whose earthly lives were cut short at the young ages of four and three, respectively; my deceased father and mother, Willie L. Boone and Ernestine Juanita Boone; my sister and dear friend, Marian Boone Maxwell.

I also dedicate this book to my God-given gift, wife of thirty-nine years, helpmeet, best friend, lover, encourager, faithful partner, contributor to this project, and great servant of God, Barbara. I am privileged to introduce Theodore Boone and the Trust Factor Now project. I have observed Theodore’s journey from up close and at a distance. I have celebrated his successes and grieved with him during difficult times in his life. I have been privileged to watch God inspire this insightful and provocative book. Theodore has worked reluctantly and faithfully to birth a child with unlimited potential to help us rise above the thoughts, feelings, and actions that cause us to live in relationship bondage.

In a very analytical manner, the writer deals with institutional and foundational systems that can create an atmosphere of distrust. He shares resources that can equip and empower readers to become more trusting individuals, and throughout the book he affirms that God can be trusted in all situations.

Finally, The Trust Factor Now! Gives readers a glimpse of how times have changed and some of the major contributors to that change. Theodore’s varied experiences in the corporate and faith communities have uniquely positioned him to provide us with a relevant word for our times, revealed in The Trust Factor Now!

A Wake-Up Call for Turbulent Times

The Trust Factor Now! is a wake-up call for the times. In the first decade of the twenty-first century we have experienced an intense season of natural and relational turbulence. Turbulence is characterized by violent motion and agitation; or changes, disturbances, and unrest. It is a state of confusion marked by unpredictability and uncontrolled change.

Storms and turbulence have a way of getting our attention. Inclement weather has become the norm. Being awakened by roaring thunder or frightened by a flash of lightning are common occurrences, it is nature way of telling us, Pay attention! Something significant is happening! These atmospheric events arouse in each of us different responses and reactions. Some of us are frightened and overwhelmed; others are fascinated or intrigued; yet there are those who marvel at the majestic power displayed by the Creator and His creation.

Regardless, such turbulence causes each of us to look up, look around, and seek shelter from potential danger. Storms and turbulence reveal to us our personal feebleness and inability to control these environmental intrusions. Not only are our weaknesses exposed in the light of these awesome displays of power. We also must acknowledge that there is a greater presence who maintains final authority over each day and our activities.

Furthermore, in this storm season we have witnessed an unprecedented and accelerating progression of turbulent natural disasters, terrorist activities, vicious attacks, attention-getting crises and catastrophes, rising political division and strife, and an increased awareness of human deception and corruption. It is quite obvious that all this turbulence has shaken many people out of their comfort zones and inspired personal change. This has resulted in people arising from their apathy and complacency, aligning themselves with new purpose and vision, and advancing positive changes through restored standards and values.

While we are concerned about such storms happening around us, a greater concern should be the storms raging within us—the things stirred up inside us that demand our undivided attention. What questions have you asked or been asked during times of turbulence?

These are the questions that challenge us to seek answers from some source in order to be sustained in the midst of the crisis. Your choices as you go through this season will make a difference, influencing how well you endure and come out of it. Know that there are answers to be revealed as you experience turbulent times and that there is hope beyond the storm. Keep moving forward, and be assured—this too shall pass!

This book is written for those who are going through this season of tremendous turbulence and transition. The fact is, none of us are exempt from life’s challenges. How we respond or react to them influences how they affect or control our lives. We share and are sensitized by the struggles that so many of us face. This common experience assures us that there are opportunities in the midst of life’s storms. These conditions, along with their associated worry, stress, anxiety, pain, and pressure, can serve as a training tool to propel us to our destiny. Much of what we go through gets us ready for what is yet to come. I have learned that my experiences served as a testing ground that prepared me for future assignments—they all worked together for the good.

Finally, this book is a love story written to assure all people that Our Creator wants them to experience life to the fullest. It expresses God’s love and compassion for all mankind. You will develop a love relationship with whom or what you trust! Our Creator wants us to place our trust in Him. He loves us so much that He is making us aware of the causes of this season’s turbulence and warning us of its effects if we don’t take corrective action. Our only hope.

This wakeup call provides insight and directions to assist us in overcoming the turbulence, and triumph over the negative forces associated with distrust and fear! We all must face and address the question of Who or what We Will Trust? The answer to this question will greatly influence how we will able to weather the turbulent storm. In spite of the intense internal crises and conflicts that are so prevalent; hope, help, healing and restored honor (human dignity) are available to all who will turn and accept the assistance and alternatives being offered to them.

The truth of the matter is whether we believe it or not we all exist and are here as the result of a supernatural Creator for a very special purpose. We not only need to trust our Creator and His creative resources and provision. We must also recognize that our maker knows us, why we are here, how long we will be here, and what we need to accomplish our purpose. We can’t exist or complete our life assignment without Him. If you have tried everything else and it has not fulfilled you, nor are you pleased with the result, may I suggest you learn to Trust in the Sovereign True and Living God! A new beginning is here. Your breakout is coming. So Ride it out!

Honestly our only hope is an outbreak of a Divine LOVOLUTION. This type of Love is a powerful Weapon than any other in the universe. It can do for Trust Relationships what no economic, political, governmental, social, educational, or religious organization can ever surpass. Divine LOVE conquerors ALL! It is a legacy that ALL of can leave as an inheritance to the generations to come. The LOVOLUTION can create an atmosphere that will enable us to experience a taste of Heaven right here on Earth.

What Is the Trust Factor Concept?

Anything with lasting value must be properly constructed. Structure is a critical element to proper function; chaos and confusion are the consequences of structural instability. The stability of the Trust Factor structure is greatly influenced by the construction of its foundation.

There is a story about two men building their home foundation on different soil types. The story goes like this:

Matthew 7:24-27(NKJV) ²⁴Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: ²⁵and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. ²⁶But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: ²⁷and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall."

The soil and the foundation makes a great difference in the reliability and stability of your life relationship structure.
