About this ebook
Shari Pettiford
Shari Lynn Pettiford grew up in a single parent home with her mother, Corinne Alfreda Leach, and siblings. As a single parent, she raised her daughters Kichjako Denise, and Kanika Aisha. She is the proud grandmother of Jaiden Mikael and Gavyn Ki. As an active member at church where she sings, donates Bibles and gifts, she attends prayer and fulfills her passion standing at The Altar. During Christmas with the assistances of several sponsors Inpii Shari Ministries provides for selected families. Each family is blessed with gifts and money to help them enjoy the real meaning of Christmas Christ. Month after month the giving continues through prayer, a listening ear, prophecy, smiles, hugs, money, bibles, pens, cards, prayer shawls, praying oils, and other special gifts. As a humble servant she sets aside her own needs when it comes to helping others. Her beliefs are "Spending time with Jesus is the priority." Don't concern yourself regarding the title for what has to be done, "just do the work of the Lord." She obtained this belief from one of her favorite quotes by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr "I just want to do God's will."

Congratulations In’pii Shari!
I praise God for your vision and dedication to this play as well as the book! What a great accomplishment. I thank you for sharing this event with many people of this world that have unspeakable troubles in their lives. I was honored to accept the key role as the Priest. What a thrill to see so many lives stand and watch and receive a healing from all the turmoil that were buried deep in ones soul. You truly are doing God’s Will
! Praise Jesus!

This play ‘The Altar" is an awesome, soul stirring play, that captures the true essence of how God and only God can deliver and truly set free your mind, body and soul. Who God sets free is free indeed. This is a must see play. I recommend the entire family to see this awesome play.

This play, the altar, had me on the edge of my seat till the arrival of our Lord and Savior….I now see the difference. We went from giving things
for our sins to be forgiven, to God giving the greatest gift of all for our sins and everlasting life. My sins are forgiven forever, already. Thank you Jesus. This was an excellent play, depicting what was and what now is.

It has been an honor working on your book. It will definitely touch so many hearts for Jesus.
God bless you,
Jeanne Leach, Editor.

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
(Proverbs 31:30, NIV).
The hands that have held, cooked, cleaned, loved, discipline, and closed to pray for us. The Feet that walked, ran, and danced for us. The mouth that spoke, sang, read the word and loved us. Those beautiful eyes are forever watching over us. We Honor your memory Mother.

ACKNOWLEGEMENTS
I would like to thank God for waking me up at 3 am to pray. During this time with Him, I wrote the play The Altar.
To my mother, Corinne Alfreda Leach Pettiford, who is in heaven making intercession for her family.
Kichjako Denise and Kanika Aisha, thank you for keeping me on my knees and for being the best daughters a mother can have. I love my two grandsons Jaiden Mikael and Gavyn Ki who keep me young and teach me patience. A special thanks to Gavyn for playing quietly behind grandma so I could type all this.
I want to thank the church for having a place to come to. To the cast who performed the original play in San Diego, I’m forever grateful.
Friends (to many to name them all), enemies, ex-husbands and boyfriends, you all helped me mature, and everyone who has been in my life—good or bad.
To my family: Pamela, Voncile (Channing, Dilyn), Cami. Michael, Michael II (Michael III, Kyra), Pilar (Khayela, Paul Jr, Pierre, Prittye, Keanu), Clayton, Queenette. Lisa (Lailah), Benny. There’s no me without you.
Hyde family, what can I say, we’ve done it all together—laugh, cry, fight, and pray—through it all, I love you.
Trenise Crawford, author of Listen To Me! I am grateful to you for many things, especially for introducing me to Jeanne Leach.
To the Urquhart Family for traveling to San Diego to see the play and forever showing love to me.
