A creative, tender story that will help young children imagine worlds beyond their homes and gardens!
-Kirkus Reviews
The Adventures of Bunzy is a likeable, endearing tale that adults will enjoy reading aloud
and young children will want to hear again and again. There are moral messages scattered
throughout. Love is an overriding theme, but there are also lessons about friendship and
generosity, being careful , facing fears, and taking care of others. The messages are not heavy
handed or overbearing, but instead are deftly woven into the actions and words of the characters
as they go about their adventure.

Tina currently lives in the South of England, but spends a lot of time in Los Angeles where two of her children and three grandchildren live. Tina has traveled extensively, living for almost three years in Sri Lanka; She then lived for fifteen years in Israel before moving to Los Angeles with her husband and their children. Due to a divorce, Tina moved back to England where she spent years building a successful business in the recruitment industry. She recently retired and this has enabled her to return to her love of writing. There are now several more books about Bunzy in the pipeline. Bunzy was a 'real' toy rabbit who was much loved by Tina's son and this story is inspired by some of the many stories she made up for him when he was a small child. Not many people in the village had ever seen her, but there were many tales of strange goings-on and magic spells being cast which frightened the villagers and so they didn’t go into the forest if they could avoid it.
The old woman was lonely, as nobody ever visited her. It was true she had cast the odd spell or two and definitely had magical powers, but she was a good woman. She would never have harmed anyone unless they had done something very bad.
One day, as she sat by the fire gently swaying backwards and forwards in her old rocking chair, she studied a basket of knitting wool that was on the floor near the fireplace.
‘Mmm, that color would make a nice pair of trousers’ she thought looking at the blue wool. Next she selected a ball of red wool ‘Perfect for a shirt’ she decided. Then there was a small ball of yellow, a little bit of black and some pale grey.
‘I know just what I am going to make’ thought the old lady. ‘ I will make a little companion to keep me company. ‘Now, what shall it be?’ She studied the grey wool for a while and then she said ‘Perfect! I shall make a little rabbit’
With that the old woman got
