As each page is read, it promises to bring the reader, hope, encouragement and joy along with a gentle reminder of the love of the Heavenly Father and gifts He has bestowed on each one of his children. Ed's gift of writing is revealed throughout each poem and he gives God all the glory and ...."thanks Him for His unspeakable gift!"

About The Author
A Wooden Cross
He died upon a wooden cross standing on Calvary’s hill,
He made a way for man to live in His Father’s will,
He died upon a wooden cross and took away my sin,
He left me joy and peace and cleansed my soul within
He died upon a wooden cross in pain and agony,
Yet if I were the only one alive, He’d do it for me,
He died upon a wooden cross to make for me a way,
And now I give Him my praises each and every day.
He died upon a wooden cross to save mankind from hell,
Many refuse to accept Him, and their souls they sell,
He died upon a wooden cross and Satan had to flee,
His stripes paid my debt in full and now my soul is free.
He died upon a wooden cross it was His Father’s will,
But the covenant He made lives with us still,
He died upon a wooden cross, it took my guilt away,
The story of that wooden cross still stays with us today.
He died upon a wooden cross and to this very day,
There are very many who wish it’d go away,
The blood that dripped from the cross saved us one and all,
It reminds me of a garden and of Eve and Adam’s fall.
I wish you would go with me and let me hold your hand,
So you can close your eyes and picture blood upon the sand,
Open up your ears and you may hear Him say,
Father, forgive them, they don’t know who visited them today
.
