    Oh how enticing "religiosity" can be with its predictable "status quo maintenance" approach to walking with God. Tragic I think as a choice, when one considers exactly what is being forfeited in an attempt to attain a synthetic sense of superiority over others. In a word: "Reality", being the very opposite of religion, is the cost! A price I find utterly un-affordable!

    I believe when it comes to the topic of "faith" it's important to know the heart of the writer you are reading. Hence, a little insight. If you've perused my writings I trust you have noticed that I'm an unapologetic non-conformist thus not religious per say. In fact, my greatest concern in life is to be summarily dismissed as a "religious person". My preference? A "real person" serving "a real God" who "really loves" THE WORLD. From day one of my sojourn with God it's always been a "real or nothing" mindset. I couldn't imagine any other way to approach the journey. Admittedly, never perfect and often awkward, but that has been and continues to be the narrow road I travel. At 27 years of age Jesus literally stole my heart. I did not join a "Club". I fell in love and entered the "Kingdom" of my Lover. To me, that was as glorious and serious as it gets! While my writings may not adhere to the status quo at times, I do hope at the very least they provide stimulation for serious contemplation. Blessings to all. Bill Taylor

      It Depends?

      Out of curiosity I recently searched on-line in a quest to find out just how many denominations Christianity claims to encompass under its umbrella of inclusion. I was already keenly aware of the more obviously advertised brands but was frankly shocked by my findings on two levels, the second far more disturbing than the first.

      Please pardon my gullibility in the matter but I innocently assumed perhaps fifty as a maximum and thought that as likely extreme.
