VRIK SHISHYAM
The Greatest Underdog Story Ever Told
Mother Shishyam is sobbing, while Father Shishyam is happy as a saint. What man has felt the motherly grief of separating from son? Only a woman who has felt this great gift of the Creator to produce the young ones can empathise in such a situation. Yet, rather than assuaging his wife, Father Shishyam is dancing with joy and proud, that his son is chosen from the pack to serve the purpose of the creator.
Prologue
Shishyam Brahm is the land and time of devotees, where souls have an appearance of a man. No Shishyam has ever refused to serve the almighty Creator. For what else can one expect of his consciousness, than to be of little use to the Creator. Moreover, the one and only way to experience the true joy that a consciousness deserves, is only possible by being in the NZT relationship with the Creator in the other dimension or Brahm. This dimension can be accessed only by taking birth in the land of Mahi. Although, it is not of a Shishyam’s choice to be privileged to take birth on Mahi as they are the elites of the past who are sent as per requirement by the Creator, yet every soul in the Universe knows how privileged is the Shishyam Brahm. Every other Brahm transports its souls to complete the cycle on Mahi and aspire to get to the Shishyam Brahm finally. No other brahm soul on Mahi gets the chance to experience the true joy of being in the NZT relationship with the creator, rather, pass the test of identifying the Creator, bound in the joy-sorrow cycle.
Pashum Brahm, one with the lowliest of souls, with the appearance of beasts, caged within chains, inhabits some of the most corrupt consciousnesses. Even the Creator doesn’t allow them anymore on Mahi. The lowest amongst them are with the appearance of a Crab while the highest ones are offered the appearance of a Lion. Can the Creator be mistaken for such disparity towards his own creations? Who knows. But recently, the Creator has started a program to rehabilitate such corrupt souls and provide them with an opportunity to even be part of the Shishyam Brahm, because he believes only the dreaded ones have the audacity to become the future great ones. But such a soul has to go through hardships no other Brahm’s soul has ever faced. The Creator has special affection towards his notorious creations because of their rebellious nature, the desire to question the basic rules of the system. Such souls be preserved, as he says, will lead to the further enhancement of the system.
But, who’ll get the first chance amongst the Pashums to rehabilitate? The lion, the crab, the snake, or the elephant? Is there any criteria the Creator has in
order to choose amongst them? In the past, the lion showed his dominance over the meek, the crab never intended others to succeed, the snake bit his own master, the mad elephant couldn’t handle the power given to him. They all cry for relief from these chains, as these burning chains remind them of their sins of the past.
The Creator has seen hundreds of thousands of pashums crying for mercy over the years but never has he seen one so calm even in such despair. Isn’t he surprised to see such reaction of his creation towards the austere and unbearable punishment? Such relentlessness? The Creator is curious to know what has caused his creation filled with emotions, not even blink from such intolerable pain.
PART ONE : THE RISE
CHAPTER ONE : The Assignment
Seventy Three years
: the wolf said mechanically.
What’s your sin ?
: the Creator asked profoundly.
Got tricked to worship the devil
: the wolf replied hesitantly.
And where’s he who tricked you so?
: asked the Creator keenly.
You ended his consciousness
: replied the wolf indifferently.
Ohh! Don’t you feel the pain from these chains?
: the Creator asked intensely.
Yes, I do
: the wolf replied placidly.
How come you don’t cry?
: asked the Creator startlingly.
The thought, that I went against my own creator, inflicts the pain which is far more gruesome than the pain from these chains
: replied the wolf ferociously.
Calm down son!
: said the creator.
The wolf, howling and wailing for the first time since his imprisonment, asked the creator one simple question - Oh my creator! Why didn’t you end my depraved soul too along with that fiend?
.
The creator smiled and answered - Oh my son! Your innocence touches me so. Had you applied some common sense in your quest for me, that fiend could have never tricked you to kill thousands of men, women and kids. For were you blind while killing women and kids? You were my greatest warrior! Yet, needed someone to lead you through. An elite skill in wrong hands could prove to be so fatal, never went through my mind. Waiting for your consciousness to awaken before it got too late, was a mistake on my part. Nevertheless, someone had to pay the price for that demon. My son, I haven’t just come to see you through, but with a purpose. Would you be willing to serve the purpose?
.
Yes my creator, without any doubt. But, one question I had, if I may ask?
: said the wolf.
Go ahead
: the creator approved.
"Amongst all the elites of the past,
