Dr. Mark Anthony White is a general dentist practicing in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Mark Anthony White, part of a military family, grew up in Okinawa, Japan and later relocated to San Antonio, TX. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago where he received several honors and scholarships for his work in natural product research. Dr. White enjoys all facets of dentistry and is committed to continuing his dental education through attending high quality courses and study clubs where he enjoys staying up to date on the latest restorative materials and techniques. Dr. White enjoys studying languages and exploring world cultures. In 2016, he was sponsored by the organization "Miracle Corners of the World" to provide dental treatment abroad in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania which proved to be a very rewarding experience.

Why I Wrote This Book

I love being a dentist and restoring smiles. I’ve met with many patients and for most the reason for wanting dentures is almost always the same or similar; they want to have a brand new beautiful smile. Time and time again, I meet with patients and discuss their expectations and reasoning behind wanting a whiter brighter smile. Sometimes it’s a wedding, graduation, a photo-shoot, or even a myriad of other special once-in-a-lifetime events, but they are always focused on the end result - the pearly whites at the end of the tunnel.

Although I try to be as thorough as possible during our first few meetings, there are inevitably questions people have or things he or she had never thought about prior to beginning the process and it’s almost always the same questions. I’ve taken note and written down all of these questions and compiled them into this book. The denture process begins often time with removing all of the patient’s teeth which prompts some of the most common questions I receive: What’s going to happen next?, How long will this take? but most importantly ... BUT WHAT DO I EAT WITH NO TEETH!?

That is why I wrote this book.
