    About The Author

Kimberly Herrmann is a registered dental hygienist who has been practicing clinically for 26 years. She is able to offer informative and practical information for the general public on finding the right dentist, saving money at the dentist, how to prevent dental disease, how to take care of your children’s dental needs, and much more. Kimberly’s experience includes two long-term dental hygiene positions, lasting 10 years each, and numerous temporary and part-time assignments over the last 6 years, ranging from a research project on the effectiveness of a mouthwash to many general practices both out west and in the south. This experience in many different dental offices has led her to observe the difference in care and level of expertise of dentists and their staffs, as well as a broad range of patient concerns and how best to treat them.

Kimberly has extensive experience in the community outreach arena as well, to include presentations to Boys & Girls clubs, schools, Senior Centers, day care centers, and health fairs. Her passion and commitment is to those she reaches, both in and out of the clinical setting, with the intention of educating and inspiring all to achieve greater dental health, as well as greater overall health.
