Guillaume Musso was born in Antibes in the south of France in 1974, and knew from a very early age that he wanted to be a writer. A trip to New York when he was 19 proved a formative experience, providing him with many ideas for his novels. He studied economics at university, and taught the subject until 2008. His breakout novel, Afterwards… (2004), has sold over a million copies and has been translated into over 20 languages to date. His subsequent novels, including A Mix-Up in Heaven (2005), Will You Be There? (2006) and Lost and Found (2007), also proved a hit with readers and cemented his position as one of France’s most popular contemporary novelists. A number of his books have been adapted into films.
