Jay froze like the proverbial deer caught in the headlights as the young woman standing next to him put her arm around his shoulder. She was as petite as he was tall, and as funky and edgy as he was straight-laced. He stood a couple of lanky inches over six feet, while she was five three or four at the very most. He wore his brown hair in a simple cut, while her own dark locks were shaved to a buzz cut on the sides of her head, but on top long, luxurious, and deep brown dyed purple at the tips. Both were young and in college, and both wore the same brown polo shirt and black pants- their coffee shop uniform. She was training him that day.

You really gotta tamp the espresso down good, Jay, the girl, Samantha, told her co-worker as she pressed her perky chest against his side. She smelled like cinnamon.

Okay, like this? he asked shyly. He was twenty-four, and had just moved to the city to finish his engineering degree. The tiny town he'd grown up in had been near a community college that he'd attended after high school, but it didn't have a real coffee shop, not the kind that served espresso. Nor did those sleeply little farming towns have incredibly cute girls with tattoos on their arms, facial piercings, and shaved heads.

Yay! Maybe you cowpokes aren't all so dumb! she giggled. She patted him on the back and lingered a bit, with those big, firm boobs of hers poking into his body.

Thanks, Samantha. You've really been helpful, he said bashfully. It was only his second day on the job, and while he'd done fine cleaning the back room and watching the obligatory training videos on the first day, he was pretty much clueless behind the counter.
