    INTRODUCTION

I have talked about writing a book for many years, and I never thought it would be about the connection between politics and religion. The two are seemingly antithetical or oppose one another, but both are closely related because each has its own standard of values. Our values, or a lack of them play a role in the decisions made by a government of people. The decisions made overall define who we are as a country. Regardless if you agree with the legislation made or not, it does define what we stand for or against as a nation. I noticed the manipulation of cause and effect in the legislative system that impacts our communities and our lives.

I am learning daily to be a better Christian. As far as religion goes, I think I knew the book would be Christ based. So, when I had an unction to write about the politics of religion and the religion of politics, I had to pay attention.

Years ago, during my sophomore year of college, I was required to do a 20-page research paper on Kate Chopin’s The Awakening, and at that point, I had only written a 5-page paper. So, I felt the new challenge was impossible for me to do. Eventually, I decided that I had to conquer my fears and give it everything that I had. I kept a notepad with me always; even while asleep, I was prepared to write just in case something came to mind. I did not want a thought or an idea to get lost in memory because I was unprepared. When I completed the paper, I was proud of myself, because it challenged me to expand and I met that challenge. I had the same feeling about writing The Hypocrisy of Greed: Spiritual Warfare in the Era of Trump, because I felt initially that it was an impossible feat. However, I heard the Lord speaking to me. Information began to flood my mind, it was like a download of data that I had to get on paper to fully understand. So, I did.

I had planned to write about something totally different, but God sent me in a different direction. One day while writing, I received a revelation on President Donald Trump, and a message for America. With that one revelation, I began to pull all my notes and Bible research together, and I wrote. It was not until I began to compile and type those notes that I realized God was helping me to connect the dots between the spiritual realm and the natural realm (which is what we live in). When I realized that God was giving me revelation and understanding on how issues of the past impact the issues related to today, I listened and waited on his guidance of what I was to write each day. Some days the writing was very difficult, and I felt the dismay and constant upheavals that occur in this nation. While feeling the heaviness of the information received, things were beginning to make sense. As hard as some days were to write, I continued to be thankful and gave God the praise for each revelation. Everything that I heard, I wrote down; the things that made sense, and even the things that did not seem to make sense, because I knew that I would receive clarity from what I was writing.

My time spent reading the Bible changed my faith. I sought God in his word. The words seemed to come alive with meaning. As a result, my understanding and knowledge increased. Without understanding, we will always be misguided.

The Hypocrisy of Greed explains that hypocrisy or a hypocrite is one who has set a moral standard for others, but not for one’s self. Because this person feels a certain privilege, exemption, entitlement, status, or superiority is deserved above others, the double-standard is ignored. It is a deception. What could be the reason someone wants to deceive you? When you inquire beyond the surface, it is common to find that the result is greed; Greed is the fulfillment of selfish and excessive desires and lusts that often involve taking from others or denying others of something.

Greed is the instigator that hides the truth behind a mask so that they can continue to bask in their lusts and continue in their deception. As a society, we can no longer be ignorant of the things happening behind the scenes of society, corporations, and government. In showing the greed that has plagued this country and benefited the wealthiest for hundreds of years, that it is specifically designed for many victims to pay that price for those privileges that only those few will enjoy. It is a benefit that may make them feel powerful, superior, privileged, and most of all, they feel like a god.

There are five main messages that are offered in The Hypocrisy of Greed that I hope many will take heed.

    1) The first is as a preparation for Christians. We must prepare ourselves that our work in the kingdom is about our lifestyles. As Christians we should examine our lives and lay aside everything that is out of the will of God to strengthen our personal relationship with him. It is also a must to read the Bible for wisdom, understanding and knowledge, to spend time in prayer, and receive and understand the comfort and power of the Holy Spirit. It requires a lifestyle of seeking God and a desire to follow the precepts or teachings that Christ laid out for us. We are being given a chance to line up according to the instruction of the Bible, and to mature ourselves in the word. All Christians should know what is good, righteous, godly, and holy according to the standard of the Bible. It is imperative that we read it for ourselves and seek understanding. Do not get weary, God will prove himself to the masses. Help is on the way.

    2) The second message is to help clarify and understand the tricks and tactics of the devil that were in effect from the inception of this country through today. There is a difference between good and evil, and we should be able to identify each. Our spiritual warfare is not with flesh and blood, it is with the wicked or sinful spirits that may dwell within an individual.

3). The third message is to exercise your faith with works and your works with faith. I pray that we step out in boldness, maturity, and wisdom. We have a mandate to pray and to get in place to work in the kingdom of the Lord, which requires us to lay hands on and heal the sick; raise the dead; cast out demons to redeem those who will believe; and, do greater works than Christ because he left that mandate for us. When God shows himself, many people will seek help from the Christian community. We will begin to see people healed, delivered, and set free from torment, and know that the only way it happened was by the hand of God.

4). The fourth message is now that we are prepared for spiritual warfare, we must be in position to help redeem those souls that want redemption. As the spirits of confusion and deception have manifested in this nation, it makes plain that there is warfare between good and evil, honesty and dishonesty, and righteousness and unrighteousness. To identify some of the good or wicked spirits that are prevalent in this society, may be shown by a person’s heart, behavior, and personality. In the identification of sin or wickedness, it is not to cast judgement on an individual. It is to help those of us to see and understand what may not be godly. The country is in unrest. I will clarify the reason for the chaos in this country and the reason Donald Trump became the president of the United States of America. We must have a right relationship with God during this season. It will be difficult for those who are not in Christ to endure the things that are to come. Those who are in Christ, do not worry, God will provide for his people.

5). The fifth message, takes us on a journey through history to see, face, and heal the residue of slavery and to catch it at its roots into this country. While the ride may get a little bumpy, it will smooth out along the way as we lend our hearts to God during the process. I followed the leading of God, and wrote every subject assigned to me, even when I did not understand the reasons, including writing about the spirits of slavery, white supremacy, white privilege, and racism. These spirits are challenging to discuss, but are necessary for this season. God has always had a plan and that plan is always for a reason. It soon became clear the reasons we must deal with the sins of our fathers in a natural and spiritual format. God is trying to heal this nation and we must go back to the beginning to heal the now.

In, The Hypocrisy of Greed, several themes are addressed by the issues that have plagued this country for centuries such as the blood, theft, idleness, oppression, deception, power, greed, and control. God said that everything that he made was good. He left us the tools on this earth to create and to be anything and everything our hearts desire, even to reach the stars. This is a wonderful gift that he left to everyone. Some will create to make this world a better place, and others will attempt to destroy it because they cannot control their own need for greed.

There is nothing wrong with being in control of people. Many people can control situations perfectly in the leadership roles they command over others, and without perverting or contaminating it. It is how you use or do anything that can enlighten it or corrupt it. Some of the ones who are corrupt do not think they are corrupt. God gave man dominion over the things in the earth, can he trust you to be a good steward over his people and over his earth? Or, will you forfeit it, and cause the people and the earth to suffer? Everything that each of us does or does not do is a choice.

My prayer is that we as believers, live righteously as a lifestyle according to the word of God; and, get what we need by way of healing and deliverance. We will also begin to see deliverance in others. I pray that those who thought they could not be healed from the pain and torture of some sins, to be healed by the power of God; For someone seeking salvation and redemption, to receive it even though you may feel unworthy; For those living in contention, chaos, and drama just to feel something, to know that you can be fulfilled living in the peace of God; For those who hate, to experience what God’s love feels like; For non-believers to become believers; Spiritually, for those with mental blocks or walls that hinder them receiving truth, to begin to receive, hear, and understand the word and things outside of the word; and, for people to turn from wickedness to righteousness, because they trusted God. I pray that our faith will increase as we continue to grow and trust the Lord together; and, to be equipped with the knowledge to understand the deceptions that are meant to trap us. Believe God.

CHAPTER 1: CHRISTENDOM A CALL TO ORDER

As humans, we have a spirit with a soul that lives inside of a body. We are both spiritual and natural creatures. The essence of who we are, is an invisible spirit and soul, which is housed in a body that is a visible, physical, tangible, and a natural being. We are three parts in one; which is spirit, soul (mind, will, heart, emotion), and body (human). Substance can be anything that we recognize as belonging to this earth; it is visible and palpable. Earth is a place full of substance that allows us to take a substance to create something different, and from that, to create something else. We are living, breathing, thinking beings, whose bodies live and die in a physical earth; and are the superior life force that has dominion in this world.

As part of this earth, our bodies are subject to this earth and the laws of nature. We comprehend an inherent sense of reality of our world to decipher or determine what does and does not make sense. For instance, we know humans do not naturally fly, because that is not our nature, nor is it what we were designed to do. Our knowledge of this natural world is based on what we sense through what we see, hear, taste, smell, touch, and also what we perceive in our minds and feel in our emotions. The things of this earth represent the natural or physical realm, which is all manner of elements and life. More specific to the human body, it can be referred to as carnal, flesh, physical, secular or natural; and, the tendencies of that body are referenced as human flesh or human nature. The earth and its substance are temporal.

I will make many references of the natural or physical to compare that to spiritual righteousness or spiritual wickedness that operate in the earth’s atmosphere and in individuals. While man may have dominion of earthly things, the two spiritual realms are good and evil, that govern, influence, or impact the spirits that operate and manifest in the physical earth. These two forces are a constant challenge for our spirit part. Everyone must determine how either will influence their humanity. While our bodies are subject to the earth and the things therein, our spiritual soul is subject to the spiritual forces of good and evil; and, each of us must decide if our soul will operate in the Kingdom of God or the Kingdom of darkness. God is a spirit, and operates in righteousness. God the Father, God the Son—who is Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) are one spirit called the Trinity. While God is everywhere at the same time, he reigns from the heavens above. The Holy Trinity represents holiness, truth, goodness, integrity, righteous covenant, peace, joy, cleanness of heart, wisdom, faith, deliverance, edification, forgiveness, love, slow to anger, kindness, healing, miracles, restoration, obedience, knowledge, prophecy, meekness, trustworthiness, longsuffering, discernment, humility, and other edifying and corrective attributes that opposes evil.

In the spiritual realm of evil, the kingdom of darkness. It is ruled by a spirit called Satan, who is the devil, the deceiver, the thief, the prince of the power of the air, the Father of Lies, and the author of confusion, and other names as he promotes wickedness, sin, lies, theft, hate, chaos, idol worship, contention, division, respect of persons, evil plots and actions, fornication, sinful lusts, retaliation, deception, bitterness, untrustworthiness, a lack of integrity, disrespect, murder, jealousy, confusion, the unjust, selfishness, pride and haughtiness, boastful, greed, a rejection of the truth, witchcraft, manipulation, destruction, sabotage, harm and abuse, derision, perversion, filthy mind and language, no ethics, a trickster, demons, tormenting spirits, suppression, oppression, unrepentance, viciousness, disobedience, rage, and any other manifestations that opposes God, truth, and righteousness.

We are a part of the physicality of this earth, as much as we are a part of the spirituality that resides in this earth. With everything in our beings and what we stand for as Christians, we must strive for perfection and a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We must also develop a godly relationship with
