Craig is happy that his young wife has decided to return to college to finish her degree in art. But the sudden appearance of some interracial-themed artwork in his bedroom causes a chain of events he could have never expected.

It was a large colorless photograph, much bigger than the size of their flat screen TV, featuring a nude black man embracing a nude white woman. They looked like lovers. Interracial lovers.

It's trash! Craig said, waving his hands for emphasis. Get that garbage out of my house.

Calm down, dear, Karen said. It's art. It's not trash. I don't know why you're overreacting to the picture?

Overreacting? Craig took a deep breath before answering his beautiful, but exasperating wife. Karen, just because it's a black and wife photograph doesn't make it art.

But can't you see how artistic it looks?

For his wife's benefit, Craig pretended to look at the picture again, knowing already that he was never going to allow such a thing to be under his roof.

Gleaming under the lights, the nude black man had his back to the camera so that you could appreciate the full glory of his sculpted posterior. The shadows caught everything —starting from his diamond-shaped calves, to the tree-trunk hamstrings, to the powerfully clenched buttocks, and then the enormous back muscles which fanned out and looked like they'd been carved from shiny ebony.

A study in contrasts, the woman was soft and white with fair skin. She was clinging onto the man's powerful form. Presumably one of his strong arms was wrapped around her waist. She looked so helpless and vulnerable. She had her face buried in his neck while her pale arms were thrown around his broad shoulders, wrapping those smooth milky white legs around the coal-black torso, hooking her feet, so that her little pink toes were arched in a way that suggested an explosion of female passion. She had long blonde hair running down her shoulders. Like Karen.

No way, Craig was saying now, shaking his head, growing more irritated by the second. Not in my goddamn house, never.

Dear, it's my house too, Karen said, her eyes bright and defensive as ever. She could be surprisingly stubborn when the mood struck her.
