In this sequel to follow me back, we discover what happened to Eric Thorn and Tessa Hart at the end of Follow Me Back. Social media had proved to have disastrous consequences for them, but sometimes you need to make contact with the outside world.

Tell Me No Lies is the second book of Follow Me Back by A.V. Geiger. I’ve loved the first book, I even reviewed voluntarily so go ahead and click this link. But, here, the question is… did I love the second book, Tell Me No Lies? Read along!

I’m really torn, Eric Thorn! Lol, that’s just me trying to up the seriousness of this book. This book has two sides, a fun one and a serious one like the previous release. Would comparing the two books make a bad idea? I hope not because that’s what I am going to do.

Both of the books are told in THREE WAYS. A normal novel telling, an investigation dialogues, and a few social media-like posts a.k.a. twitter tweets and snapchat snaps. The books are also told in multiple third person P.O.V. and you cannot tell that it isn’t interesting!

I don’t think I would ever forget the two main characters. I love Eric Thorn but you could already guess that! Tessa Hart is also cute. They just have the chemistry. They “click.” They are not cringe-y at all. ESPECIALLY ON BOOK ONE.

Blair Duncan, on the other hand, must have choked a few times. They say that if you talk about a certain person, like mentioning his name, and that person is not around you, they choke. So be careful in saying someone else’s name or making someone a conversation topic. It’s going to make the person choke, they say. Going back, what Tessa and Eric (mostly Eric) did during investigations was blame everything to Blair. But Blair isn’t all there is. A lot of people with different kind of intentions also exists. He’s not the same Blair he was on book one but still a confused character.

Let’s also talk about the baby… or maybe not! But baby was mentioned in the book and it got me all excited. So I’m here like I WANT THE THIRD BOOK OUT IF THERE WILL BE A THIRD BOOK. Shout that with me because I really have to read the next! Tessa’s unbelievable and Eric’s just so supportive.

I loved the plot, that’s not new. If this is gonna have a third book I’ll be sure to read that. Even for tenth book. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of Eric Thorn and the plots and twists. I think what I liked the most is that, considering that the first book already set high expectations for the second book, Tell Me No Lies is still intriguing.

Final verdict is… I, of course, recommend this book to anyone who wants romance and mystery. Let’s leave a trace and say that #EricThornIsEverything (to me, at least!)

After Eric Thorn's phone was found cracked and bloody in the snow, but no Eric Thorn, who knows what's going on? Fangirl Tessa Hart knows the truth. She's been in hiding the last couple of months. But now she's forced to face the consequences. Back in the interrogation room it seems as though there are more questions than answers. This is the conclusion to Follow Me Back. To be honest I don't remember a whole lot about that book, only that I had fun reading it and it shed some light on the dangers of social media. The same can be said about this book. Instead of focusing only on Twitter like the first book, we learn about Snapchat (okay, maybe I'm the only one who learned about it) and even though it may seem safer, you just never know what can happen. I was a little surprised at who the culprit was in this one. I enjoyed a look into Eric Thorn's life, how demanding and hectic it is to be famous. I'm a sucker for books that have police interviews and Twitter messages and stuff like that so I loved those parts. Overall this was a fast read and a satisfying end for me.Thank you to Netgalley and Sourcebooks Fire for an ARC.
