- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5board book (transportation with diverse faces and female pilot/truckdrivers)
a clear winner from a read-aloud perspective (kids love familiar tunes, and kids love cars). Expect to enjoy this one again and again at your child's request.
Unfortunately, the board book version is a bit small for sharing with my baby/toddler storytime (5.75" x 6.5") but I will probably order the 9.6" x 10.8" paperback version, which will make this PERFECT.
The only thing that may jar some readers is the imperfect rhyme at the beginning, "fuel" and "full"--it was pointed out to me that the book was originally published in England, where the original "petrol" would have rhymed much better.
