THE INCREDIBLE PET PROJECT
Mum was in a hurry as usual, but as she rushed them down the street, the twins couldn’t resist peeking through the window of the pet shop on the corner.
Mina’s favourite was one of the golden retriever puppies in the window, but Magnus had his eye on the calico kitten in the back…
“Mum, are you SURE we can’t have a doggie?” Mina said as she stared into the puppy’s big brown eyes through the dusty window.
“NO! Daddy is allergic to cats and dogs!” said Mum as she hustled them off down the pavement.
Five minutes later, they were outside Magnus and Mina’s grandad’s place – an old repair garage on a road just off the high street.
