Sarah sighed and brushed a loose strand of hair from her eye, glancing at the clock as she did.

I can’t believe it’s four o’clock and we haven’t had a single customer come through the door, she said to her best friend and workmate, Ellie, who grunted in response, barely looking up from her phone.

I guess people are all flowered out from Valentine’s Day yesterday, continued Sarah.
