Chapter One
Isssa Lick
Hurry up nigga before that crocked ass cop Newman catch us up in this here bitch red-handed.
Tray'Sean had yelled out to no one in particular as he looked over his shoulder to assure that the cost was clear.
Tray'Sean and a few of his boys had decided to break into one of the abandoned trap houses that were over in Captain Newman's jurisdiction. Tray'Sean and his crew had all assumed that the abandoned trap house had still belonged to Killer Sam and a few of his men, seeming that they were the last ones known to have occupied it.
The weather had been mild and crisp that night, with a soft, slow warm summer breeze, which had been blowing throughout the air when Tray'Sean and his crew had decided to kick down the back door to the abandoned trap house.
Yo hurry the fuck up.
Tray'Sean had yelled out to one of his boys who was slacking behind everyone else and moving around extremely slow once they were all inside.
Yo Y'all come the fuck on, we wanna be in and out of this here mother fucker in no time. We wanna find this here money and get this here shit on the road. You niggas hurry the fuck up and find this niggas mother fucking stash, and let's keep this here shit lit.
Tray'Sean had hollered out to his crew as he stayed close behind to watch over the back door and assure that no one had noticed them while they were all inside.
Tray'Sean's crew had run through the back of the already ransacked trap house within no time, moving from room to room without anyone in the neighborhood witnessed a thing.
Newman
Captain Newman had sat in his patrol car that night two block's away from where the home invasion had been taken place. Newman was unbothered as he had occupied in his vehicle with the ignition ignited as he had thumbed through an XXL hip-hop magazine.
Tray'Sean and his crew, weren't worried about Captain Newman or any of the other police officers that were out on patrol that night. The only thing that Tray'Sean and his boys had worried about that night was finding Killer Sam's money before someone in the neighborhood had caught on to what they were doing. Tray'Sean and his boys hadn't known that the trap house had no longer been the property of Killer Sam, neither had they known that it had now belonged to Newman.
Newman was a crooked Police Captain for the Oakland Police Department, and Newman had made sure that he had set up all of the trap houses in his jurisdiction with heavy surveillance cameras, and with ADT home monitoring security systems. Newman had to assure that he always had a way of monitoring and controlling the trap houses, along with everything that was in it.
Scored
Tray'Sean's crew had now made it through the back of the trap house unannounced without being noticed by any of the neighbors. By the time Tray'Sean and his crew where at the front of the trap house, they all were looking around any and everything, desperately in search of Sam's stash. Tray'Sean's crew where trying their best to satisfy Tray'Sean by finding the significant amount of money that was supposed to have had been concealed in the trap house by Killer Sam and his men.
Tray'Sean had patiently stood watch at the back door, playing lookout for his crew, as they had begun to ransack the trap house. Tray'Sean had constantly watched the police tracker that he had on his cell phone GPS system; while his crew had continued looking for money and drugs and whatever else that they could find worth any value to them.
Captain Newman was just starting to get into his XXL magazine article about Beyonce and her Super Bowl halftime appearance when his cellular phone had suddenly decided to ring. At first Captain Newman had ignored his phone due to his interest in the article that he was reading, seeming that it was aimed towards the police.
Upon the third ring on Captain Newman's phone, he had irately decided on answering.
Newman here, how may I help you?
He had said while never once looking at the caller ID screen to see who it was that was calling him.
This is ADT home security monitoring systems, and we've detected a break-in at one of your homes located on twenty-three twenty-one eighty-first ave, in Oakland California. Sir does this addressee sound familiar to you.
The security rep had politely asked him over the phone.
Captain Newman had sat straight up in his patrol car in shock, once he had caught on to what the security representative had stated to him over the phone. Before Captain Newman had responded back to what the customer service security representative had to say, Newman had already placed his patrol car into gear and had headed over towards the break-in.
Aye yo Y'all niggas come the fuck on and rap this here shit up.
Tray'Sean had yelled out to the men in his crew while motioning towards them with one of his hands for them to hurry up and finish.
Tray'Sean had noticed on his GPS police tracking system that a patrol car was coming their way. Tray'Sean and his men had wasted no time wrapping things up and heading out of the trap house, while jumping over the neighbors back fence, to stay clear of the front street to assure that no one had seen any of them. Tray'Sean and his men had hurtled over three more fences, and down a one way street on Lockwood Ave, towards a back alleyway that had lead them to an SUV that they had already parked and waiting for them to hop in.
By the time Captain Newman had arrived at Killer Sam's trap house, Tray'Sean and his men were long gone, and Captain Newman hadn't had a clue of who it was that had just robbed him of his unearned illegal retirement pension.
Tray'Sean and his crew had switched cars three more times since leaving from the robbery. After dropping everyone off, Tray'Sean and his younger cousin Jamal had then hopped onto the freeway, headed home after a long night out hustling.
Once Tray'Sean and Jamal had made it home to the San Ramon Hills, Jamal had started to relax a bit and calm down with him knowing that Captain Newman was no longer a threat for them.
Yo, cuddy I hope that you don't think that I'm about to stay up late tonight counting and dividing up all of that this money and shit.
Jamal had told his older cousin while following closely behind him as they walked inside of the house through the garage door.
Jamal had walked past Tray'Sean who was carrying three sizeable black duffle bags from the robbery that they had just come from.
Man Tray if you think that crazy ass shit for one minute cuzz, you siked the fuck out, my nigga because I'm mother fucking tired, and a nigga is about to go to bed.
Jamal had told his older cousin while walking up the stairs towards his bedroom.
Tray'Sean hadn't worried about Jamal's attitude, nor was he worried about anything that he had just said, seeing that they had just got away with the lick of all times by taking Killer Sam's heroin money from his trap without anyone noticing them.
Nigga chill the fuck out you mother fucking brat. Ain't nobody say shit about you having to count up any mother fucking bread, nor did a nigga say anything about yo little bitch ass having to divide up shit.
Tray'Sean had yelled back out to his younger cousin from the comfort of his living room sofa set.
Tray'Sean & Jamal
Tray'Sean was Jamal's older cousin on his mother's side, and once Tray'Sean mother had passed away when he was eighteen, he had promised her that he would always look after Jamal seeming that they were raised close like brothers instead of cousins.
Jamal's mother had also passed away; she had passed when she had gone into labor with Jamal at the age of fifteen. Jamal's mother had complications with her pregnancy, due to her young age and her body not completely developing throughout Jamal's birthing stage. Jamal's mother had gone into shock while she was in labor with Jamal, and she was unconscious when the doctors had to force Jamal out and deliver him. Unfortunately, Jamal's mother had passed away while still lying in the labor and delivery room of her hospital bed. Tray'Sean mother had then fainted at the time, once she had noticed that the support machines hooked up to her younger sister had gone flat line and had singled the doctors with a loud beep, indicating that her heart had stopped and she was no longer living.
Tray'Sean's mother was traumatized once she had witnessed the death of her only sister, it had forever changed her life after watching her sister pass away while giving birth to her only child.
Tray's mother had felt as if her younger sisters death was all of her fault and responsibility, seeming that Tray'Sean's grandmother had also passed away before Tray'Sean was born, and his mother was left to care for Jamal's mom when she to was only eighteen.
Tray's mother had punished herself by stressing over the years, worried about what she could've done better to prevent her younger sisters death from happening while in labor.
Tray'Sean and Jamal were only three years apart from each other in age. However, Tray'Sean had always made three years seem as if he had a twenty year age difference over his younger cousin Jamal.
Newman's Investigation
Captain Newman was the only patrol car that had arrived at the abandoned trap house that night seeming that he was the only one aware of the situation and hadn't called in to request any backup vehicles for assistance. Newman had turned off the lights on his patrol car once he had pulled up towards the abandoned trap house so that no one would be able to notice him.
Captain Newman had slowly stepped out of his patrol car looking both ways around the neighborhood for his safety and precaution as he pulled out his flashlight along with his forty Glock pistol to see if he was able to catch whoever it was that had decided to cross him by breaking in.
These little dirty black son of bitches they think that they're slick. I swear once I get a hold of one of them little black thieving ass nigger's, I'm going to bust a cap so far up in their little black asses until they don't need a hustling career.
Captain Newman had ranted and raved to himself as he had walked around the front of the trap house securing and clearing the premises before deciding to go inside through the backdoor.
Click Clack.
Was the sound of Captain Newman cocking back the hammer of his forty Glock pistol before walking towards the back of the trap.
What in the hell.
Captain Newman had blurted out to himself as he viewed the damage that was done to the back door once he had walk up the back porch to go inside and see what had been missing. Newman was pissed as he made his way inside of the trap through the busted back door. Once Newman was inside of the trap house, he had headed straight toward the back bedroom, where he had stashed all of his extrusion money in the back of the closet behind an old safe that Sam had once owned.
Newman's heart had dropped once he had noticed that the duffle bag was missing from out of the back bedroom closet where he had secured it. Fuck my life. That was my mother fucking retirement money.
Captain Newman had yelled out to himself as he threw his back up against the bedroom wall and begin to fight the air as if someone was in front of him. Newman had tried his best to hold back his tears that were starting to form from anger and sudden rage.
Three million mother fucking dollars, of hard-earned police work, all fucking gone in one got damn night. Who in the fuck new about this here spot beside me and Killer Sam.
Newman had begun to question himself as all sorts of different things had started racing throughout Newman's head.
Fuck, I forgot about Killer Sam's stash.
Newman had blurted out, as he quickly composed himself while making his way towards the dining room, to see if Sam's dope and money were still stashed away where he had last left it. Captain Newman had jogged the short distance from the bedroom down the hallway towards the back dining room to become disappointed once he had noticed that Killer Sam's stash with an unenclosed amount of money had also been missing.
Newman was pass pissed off seeming that he had never totaled up all of Sam's figures when he had it took from him. "Let me find out that one of these dirty, dingy mother
