About this ebook
On August 22nd, a Melbourne of moving graffiti art, ghost infested market places and consistently stable weather is going through quite a lot.
Violet Binet is a street assassin and former Catwalker who's fed up with the buzzing Bee Seekers, the cult-like Hydrophobes who occasionally help out and everything else her modern Melbourne can throw at her - it can get daunting... sometimes.
She's desperate, very desperate, and in need of what she can't afford thanks to some pretentious medical practitioners, so she decides to makes things easier by stealing from the wrong man, her former mentor Uncle Jack, who can be more than understanding.
Fortunately for her, Uncle Jack is very understanding... even if she did steal his prized football from under his security griffin and sphinx, and agrees to help. All she has to do is kill the Painter, whatever the hell that is.

Smiling back at them, Violet Binet turned the corner into Hosier Lane and took to the cobblestones along the ever changing mural of graffiti art. One moment it was green, then purple, maroon and so on; the lines of visual expression twisted and curled to its own liking and would often produce an image of a politician that the city might have a deep seated hatred for. The warm spring air kissed her hardened skin as she took each bumpy cobblestone one at a time. Violet wore her dark green hood, black leggings and silent sneakers; she was a street girl through and through with honey blond locks. As she intended to turn left into a much smaller side lane,
