About this ebook

Sandy: Try hard. Two little words that have galled me my entire life. Find a man to mate. Bring honor to the pack. Those are the words my father drilled into my head ever since I was a wolf pup. I’m not exactly any Alpha’s ideal mate. I’ve curves in the wrong places and I’m plain looking. I’m an accountant she-wolf who harbors dark fantasies about a man who’s able to handle me.

Such a man doesn’t exist…until the day I meet werewolf Alpha Danny White.

Danny: The moment I saw her, I knew Sandy’s the one. One whiff, a kiss, a touch and I know she’s my woman. Sandy doesn’t remember me, but I do. Years ago, a certain girl changed my life. Saved my soul, and that’s her. Sandy might not believe in fated encounters or love, but I like a good challenge. I’m going to make Sandy mine, no matter the cost.

Alpha's Curvy Virgin - Liz Woody

    Prologue

Eight-year-old Sandy Jones tried to make herself as small as possible in her desk. The teacher would come soon, she knew, and would save her from this senseless name calling.

What, cat caught your tongue, fatty? Bridget Lindell demanded, poking a finger into her shoulder.

Sandy couldn’t make herself any smaller. As the daughter of Felix Jones, Alpha of the town’s local wolf pack, she knew she should stand up for herself. Sandy possessed what these human girls didn’t—the ability to shift, but never in a million years would she hurt anyone by accident. These girls were asking for it though, but like her mother always said—Sandy had to be the better person.

Leave me alone. Sandy’s voice came out small, pathetic. She wished she possessed her mother’s courage, or her brothers’ and sisters’, but she didn’t.

Are you talking to me, porky? Bridget asked.

Tracy and Cherry, members of her little group, clucked like hens. Probably rehearsed the whole thing beforehand, Sandy guessed. She bit at her fingernails. Any longer and these silly girls would provoke her wolf. Not the best course of action, given Sandy didn’t possess full control of her she-wolf.

Who was Sandy kidding? No one was going to save her. Ever.

Didn’t you hear what she said? Leave her the hell alone, an unexpected voice interrupted.

Sandy looked up in surprise to see a boy she never spoke to before in her entire life. Tall and lean, he looked older, so he must be in another grade. He had short black hair and the most intense pair of blue eyes she’d ever seen on a human boy. Most boys she’d encountered, especially those in her class, would either join in the taunting or mind their own business. She clenched her fists, annoyed she didn’t know his name.

Danny, you shouldn’t concern yourself with this little thing, Bridget crooned.

Danny made his way past the trio and grabbed Sandy’s arm. Speechless, Sandy stared at him.

    W-what?

Let’s get the hell out of here.

Danny tugged and this time, Sandy didn’t resist. When he broke into a sudden run, she followed, heart racing. What was this feeling? Why did she feel so safe, so trusting of this strange boy who came to her rescue, when no one else would?

The bell’s about to ring, Sandy called out.

Danny never looked back, only trained his eyes forward, towards the doors leading to the exit of the grade school.

    Let it, Danny simply said.

You two there, where do you think you’re going? Lunch time is over, snapped Mrs. Pickett, the school disciplinarian.

Danny didn’t answer. He picked up speed. One step.
