    Many years ago, there was a family of moonflower vines living on the edge of the grasslands down in the Deep South. They have been there for years and years.

    In the summer time, they would spread out on that old and rusty fence on the edge of that grassland. Every morning they would bloom their beautiful white and purple flowers. They sure gave that old rusty fence something to be proud of. Each year at the end of summer their beautiful flowers would become a seedpod full of seeds so they could have more flowers to replace the ones that would not come back from the winter sleep. One of the Moonflower families was living at the end of the fence. The Mother Moonflower had so many flowers on her vine that she could not even name them all. But the one on the end of her vine, she was something special. Mother Moonflower noticed her when she was still a little bud. Her Mother called her Little Lily. 

    Little Lily kept asking her, Mom what is at the end of this grassland? What is on the other side of these mountains?

    Her mother kept telling her. Hush up, what are all these nonsense questions you keep asking me. How would I know? We have never seen the other side of the mountains or the end of this grassland. 

    But why mom? "Why did you never want to see
