I slowly get out of bed and slip my bare feet into my slippers, the ones he got me five years ago. I love these slippers, they are red and furry with diamond bows. He said that they were sexy and reminded him of me and he knew red was my favorite color. As I left the bedroom, I turn and look at him again. He was out cold and oblivious to me and how I feel. Oblivious to what is going on inside of me. I made my way in the hallway which was illuminated by the bathroom light. My slippers slap against the hardwood floor as I walk to the kitchen and open our big steel refrigerator.
“Ahh Shiraz," I said aloud.
Angel thought her marriage was over and decided to get her satisfaction from somewhere else.
