About this ebook
Book 1
Marie Owens moves to a new town, new school. Her white married professor seems to have an interesting attraction to black women, especially Marie. She struggles to understand her new professor’s feelings and can’t decide if he’s just being friendly and a little flirty, or if there’s more to how he feels about her.
When they get tangled up together at school, she questions his feelings toward her. He doesn’t have an immediate answer, but promises to tell her another time. He invites her to a Halloween party that his wife and children will be attending. Marie attends the party, but becomes frustrated with her professor as he struggles to open up to her.
She puts space between them and focuses on her schoolwork, but then she discovers something shocking that could tear her and her professor apart forever. Will he finally open up to her or will he end up pushing her away?
Book 2
Marie’s naughty professor continues to nurture their relationship, taking care of both her and her baby as they struggle to fully come to terms with the situation. Marie begins to question whether or not she actually has a future with Mark or if she’ll be raising the baby entirely on her own just as her mother had done. But as her pregnancy becomes harder to hide and people start discovering the truth, the pressure on her and Mark’s relationship escalates, leaving her to wonder how he really feels about her as their complicated romance continues to unfold. Desperately, she holds onto her feelings for Mark tightly as she wards off the doubt that surrounds her on a daily basis. Meanwhile, Evelyn grows suspicious of Marie’s relationship with her husband when Marie has a sudden accident that threatens both her and her baby’s life. Will they both make it through, and will Mark’s true feelings finally become apparent?
Book 3
Marie tries desperately to balance school life, her relationship with the naughty professor, and being pregnant in her third trimester. She struggles to accept how the people around her see their relationship, along with being pregnant, and is soon plagued with doubt as well.
She wants to be as good of a mother as she can, and finds difficulty believing in herself or even Mark. She wants the baby to have more than she did growing up, but can she be strong enough for her and the baby just in case Mark wasn’t in the picture?
With everything going on, she’s getting stressed out as she weighs how her relationship with Mark affects those around her. She is due to give birth to the baby any day now. How will Mark react to Marie going into labor? And will Evelyn’s suspicions ever lead her to find out about Mark and Marie’s relationship?

My Bad Boy Professor
Chapter 1: First Day of Class
It was the first day of the fall semester. The leaves had just started falling from the trees and every day got increasingly colder and windier. I made it a point to dress for a good first impression. I wore a light yellow cardigan tucked around me with a white camisole underneath, and blue-grey skinny jeans. I thought it would be a good idea to dress simple on my first day. I even went light on my makeup, too, although I didn’t skip highlighting my ebony cheekbones anyway. I wore my hair plain and straight, just past my shoulders.
I was new in town, and didn’t really have any friends. People seemed to all have their own interests in mind, and that was fine by me. I didn’t mind making friends slowly. It was a small town, so it had to happen eventually, right? I had my GPA on my mind more than anything. My grades had always been above average, and I was feeling confident enough even though it was a new school, new place. My anxious excitement could not be toned down.
My first class of the day was economics. Room 202 in the Social Sciences building, it didn’t take me very long to find. Up some stairs, down a hallway, and the second room to the right. There were a lot of people already seated and waiting, although the seats were only half filled. I took a seat at the middle table, second row. Slowly, more people, mostly girls around my age, funneled into the room in groups. By the time the professor entered the room, all of the seats were filled with overly cheerful white girls chirping to each other. There may have been a few guys, but very few.
The professor was fair skinned, perhaps as fair as they come. He was handsome by any woman’s standards. He wore a white button-up shirt and black slacks. His arms noticeably bulged underneath his long white sleeves. I wondered if he had toned abs. It seemed like a safe bet since his arms appeared to be so buff. He was tall, probably around 6’2" just by eyeing him. His hair was a sandy blonde color, and so was his peppery facial hair. His overall appearance was clean-cut, however. A wedding band shined on his ring finger as he shuffled through some papers. When he looked back up, his eyes lingered on me for a moment, the only African American girl in the room, before glancing away.
I am Mr. Moore. I’ll be your economics professor for the whole semester. I’m pretty strict, and I expect nothing less than an 80% average from this class,
he smiled. I’ve prepared a small introductory presentation for today. Enjoy,
he said, dimming the lights and turning on a projector by the desk. ‘Economics I’ filled the screen in an over-sized Comic Sans font.
He probably thought he was clever, adding all sorts of power point effects. He smiled occasionally, admiring his work, as it dragged on and on, covering all of the concepts the class would cover. Economics has never been a favorite subject of mine, and my eyes darted more or less away from the presentation and to him, standing beside the projector and occasionally glancing at his phone. His porcelain skin glowed under the dim lights as the light from the projector illuminated the white wall. I wondered what he was looking at on his phone. Maybe he was texting his wife or playing a casual game of mahjong, just passing time.
I tapped my pen against the blank notebook in front of me. It seemed pointless to take notes on such a silly presentation. The vast majority of the presentation was just bulleted lists and the professor talking in his steadily charismatic tone of voice about the general concept of the class. When it was finally over half an hour later, the lights came back on and the professor put his phone on the desk beside him. The ladies in the room sat up straight again and stifled their yawns.
That’s it for today. Tomorrow we’re going to get our hands dirty with microeconomics,
he said, clapping his hands together and turning his attention back to his phone. His facial expression always seemed to change when he looked at his phone.
Everyone around me packed up and left, but I sat there for a while watching Mr. Moore watch his phone. He didn’t seem to notice I was watching him, and maybe I was being a tad too nosy, I decided. I got up to leave, and as I passed by my desk, my eyes grazed the lit up screen. There was a picture of a black woman naked, breasts exposed. My eyes widened and I stifled a laugh as his eyes caught mine. I looked away and hastily made my way to the door, trying to avoid any awkward conversation that might follow, but before I could get my fingers around the handle, his arm caught mine. Surprised, I looked up into his smiling brown eyes. He didn’t seem mad. In fact, he was smiling.
You saw that, didn’t you?
he said, still firmly gripping my arm.
I did,
I said, trying not to sound as intimidated as I really was. I should have taken offense to him grabbing my arm, and I should have pushed his hand away. I should have been uncomfortable with the whole situation. Instead, it was a strangely welcome embrace.
You’re not going to tell anyone, are you?
he asked. He leaned in a little closer to me.
No. I don’t care,
I replied, trying to regain my composure. His face was so close to mine that I could feel his breath on my cheek. Threatening, but not too harshly. He was standing so close to me; I could smell the scent of burnt amber emanating from his neckline. It was a pleasant manly smell.
Good,
he said, his grip loosened from my arm, to my disappointment. Need a ride home?
I wasn’t sure if he was joking or not, but the offer seemed kind of creepy. I still have more classes today,
I said, trying to excuse myself.
Of course. Just trying to be nice,
he said with a smile. I still have work to do anyway. Come by here before you leave and I’ll give you a ride. No strings attached. Promise.
I’ll see,
I said, finally walking out the door. The air became less heavy and I felt like I could finally breathe again. Mr. Moore had such a powerful presence, and I wasn’t sure how I felt about it. I walked to my next class, which was basic college math, trying to get the encounter out of my head, but it stuck with me all day, and at the end of my other classes I ended up back at room 202 staring at the door, unsure. I took a deep breath and exhaled as I turned the knob.
He sat at his desk going over some papers. His
