The sky went dark. Panting, Heartbeat heavy in my chest. There’s a bear outside that wants to eat us! I ran to the backdoor and fearfully closed it to prevent the bear from getting inside. I saw a warning coming from the northern hemisphere.

Chapter 1

July 2012

It was early morning, about 5:30 AM.The time I used to wake up to prepare for school. It was winter. I was eighteen years old, in metric, and we were about to start with the record examinations. Even though I had a lot on my mind already, the most miraculous thing happened to me that morning before I woke up, something not even the stress of the upcoming exams could overtake.

I had a dream. It was so vivid. I saw the sky turned dark, as if a big storm was on the way. As I stare at the sky through my bedroom window, there appeared to be an angry bear outside so suddenly. It was vicious, growling and aggressive, and it just wanted to get inside the house. I panicked and ran to the window to close it. I got the sense the bear was very hungry. I ran from my bedroom to the kitchen to close the backdoor.The walls of the house turned into windows, so I could see the bear all the way to the kitchen. I kept my eyes on the bear, it was staring at me viciously. When I got there, I fearfully closed the door. I was panting and breathing intensely and my heartbeat felt heavy in my chest. Suddenly, my mother walked into the kitchen, she was so calm and was about to prepare food
