Abigail Lee Justice

Abigail Lee Justice writes emotional, erotic, suspense romances which include a BDSM theme. She creates strong characters, who seem real, but are flawed in some ways, some couples Happily Ever After will be a work in progress. Some characters problems are just too steamy to fix in one book. Abigail was born and raised in Baltimore City by two wonderful, supportive, loving parents. As a child she made up vivid stories in her head then one day a friend told her instead of keeping her stories locked inside she needed to put them on paper; that’s exactly what she did. Abigail met her husband 29 years ago on a blind date (thanks Dan C.) while working a part time job to put herself through college, she fell madly in love with her Prince Charming and has been since the first day they met. By day, Abigail practices medicine in a busy Cardiologist practice, by evening she switches her white coat for more relaxed comfortable clothing. She has two wonderful adult sons and a very spoiled chocolate lab. In the wee hours of the night, she writes BDSM romances. In her spare time when not working or writing, Abigail enjoys, reading, concocting vegetarian dishes, exotic vacations, scuba diving, high adventure activities, living in the lifestyle she writes about, and doing lots and lots of research making sure her characters get it just right. To the very creative and talented wordsmith, Brynna Curry, thank you so much for stepping up to the plate and taking over editing. Look where that journey has led us, our seventh project together. Hopefully many more to come in the future, (hint, hint).

To both of my wonderful PA’s Crystal Matz and Terra Oenning without both of you I would be lost when it comes to social media. Both of you hold a special place in my heart.

Special thanks goes out to my beta readers, Lisa, Jen, and Michelle, without the bantering back and forth this book would still be locked away in my mind.

To my loving parents, sons, in-laws, family, coworkers, and friends, you all are near and dear to me. Without all of your guidance and support, I wouldn’t have become the person I am today. Thank you.

To my loving husband Dave, your support these past few years has meant the world to me. You held my hand, lifted my spirits, and wiped the tears from my eyes when I needed you the most. We’ve had our ups and downs, fought over crazy computer issues, weekends away from home attending cons and book signings being my (assistant), driving a gazillion miles even through a hurricane, through it all you’ve stuck by my side with a smile on your face. Thank you from the bottom of my slave heart. SRD: I love you:) PG.

To Sir Robert and slave Jenna, co-owners of the Baltimore Playhouse. Thank you for providing a safe, non-discriminating space for everyone in our community to socialize with friends and make new ones, learn new skills and improve on the ones you know, and most importantly—MAKE PLAY HAPPEN!

Thank you to every single blog that supports and promotes my work. You guys make it so easy to get the word out, and I thank you for it. Supporting indies the way that each of you do is just amazing.

Thank you to my loyal readers who buy my books, write the reviews that I beg each of you to write, attend the signings and pimp my work. Hugs and kisses to all of you.

To KM Krick, I know I call you my PA at signing, but most importantly, I’m delighted to call you my friend. You’ve been by my side from the very beginning, and I hope that never changes. Our friendship is meant to last forever.

    Home for the Holidays

I smooth my hair back one final time with shaking fingers before ringing the doorbell, waiting to breach the unknown. I’m a few minutes early, but that’s how I roll. Plus, I know how big the Blacksmiths are on punctuality. Even as I try to convince myself otherwise, I know deep in down in my gut that I’m nervous. I'm not sure why. I used to babysit for them when I was thirteen. They had been intimidating. Now that I’m ten years older, that shouldn’t play a part in this visit. Nevertheless, why had they invited me over for dinner? Even my inner voice was on high alert.

Before I can change my mind, the door opens and Mrs. Blacksmith stands in front of me looking like perfection. She is and has always been hot as fuck.

As usual, she is dressed to the nines in black dress slacks, a leather corset, and 'fuck me' boots. I had never understood the leather corset. It didn't seem like 'around the house' attire to me, but damn it was sexy. She was always the best dresser I had ever known. Even now that she is in her forties, her body looks as though she still hits the gym regularly. There isn't an ounce of fat or wrinkles on her, at least none that I can see. Light beamed through the wide opening, giving her an angelic halo around her frame. I knew to trust my feelings and they were blaring out a warning.

Miley! Darling, it's so good you could make it.

I faltered for a moment, clenching my teeth, determined not to show my anxiety.

Before I can protest, she pulls me in for a hug and kisses both my cheeks like rich and fancy people do. A strange myriad of emotions spiraled within me, excitement, fear, but most of all arousal.

Thanks for inviting me. I reply. I must admit. I was surprised when I received the invitation for dinner, especially since I hadn’t had that much contact with them in recent years. Both of their children had been sent to a private boarding school before I started college. We exchanged a few passing hellos and goodbyes when I came home from college on break but nothing more.

I went out of my way to avoid them actually. I have had a huge crush on Mr. Blacksmith since I was like ten. I was surprised when my parents suggested that I babysit for their children.

My parents share a lot in common with the Blacksmiths. They attend the same church. My mother is French and so is Mrs. Blacksmith. My father has a passion for boats and fast cars. So, does Paul. I caught myself thinking of Mr. Blacksmith with too much familiarity.

Come on in. Paul is upstairs finishing a business call.

She led me into their gorgeous dining room and I thanked my lucky stars I had remembered to dress up a little bit with a new fancy blouse I had splurged on. Everything looks even more sterile since I last was here. Even when the kids were home, everything had to be put in its place or Mrs. Blacksmith would have thrown a fit.

I hope you brought your appetite with you tonight, the feisty woman said.

Starving. I remember you are the best cook, even better than my mom is. She tries, but sometimes I don’t know where she comes up with her concoctions.

Wait until I tell your mom. We share secrets back and forth when we get together, Monica said in an evil way and smiled.

Her phone rings and she looks down at it, furrowing her brow.

Everything okay? I can come back; I have thirteen days left on break.

No, darling. That is just Paul. Seems his conference call is taking longer than expected. He said to go ahead and start without him.

    Okay.

She sits next to me at the table and we exchange small talk while we eat the most decadent shrimp appetizer and sip on red wine.

How’s school coming along? Third year law, right?

Right. It’s great. I love having the opportunity to clerk for the best judge in Lakeland, Florida. I’ve made a lot of good friends, and I get to study at the beach every night.

Wonderful, what about any steady guys?

I blush as she smiles at me knowingly. I’ve dipped my toe in the water more than once.

A few, but nothing serious yet.

Why not? You're beautiful, intelligent, and hot as hell.

Did she call me hot? Thank you, but I’m not looking just yet. I want to finish up school first, get a job, and then get serious.

Well, you do have a point there. See, you are smart to be that way. I married Paul when I was nineteen, didn’t finish college, started having kids. If you ask me though, I won't change anything about it.

She had a point. Any woman would have married Paul. He was nothing but drop dead gorgeous. I had my eyes set on him when I was ten, but that was just a teenage fantasy.

What about girls? Do you have an eye for them instead?

I almost spit out the wine I'm sipping. I feel her patting my back as I cough and reach for my napkin to cover my mouth. My face is burning with excitement. I’ve been with a few girls at college, so I’m not the pure virgin when it comes to going down on a girl.

    Umm…I can't believe we're having this conversation.

Don’t be shy, we all have our desires.

    Well?

It’s okay, she says in a reassuring voice.

I dabbled a bit. If you know what I mean. I would have never guessed that Mrs. Blacksmith swings both ways.
